  1. I'm returning home to Fort Hood in about a month, does anyone know of any good gunsmiths in the area that can do the trigger assembly conversion?

Worse case scenario I can do it for free if you cover the shipping, I would suggest getting the carrier, bolt , and FCG worked over by Pauly first.

  2. Ive been having problems with my CAA poly tube and my MOE stock, I can only use the stock in one position (about halfway) without it collapsing. At least the postion of the stock is a good one, it seemed to hold up well at first but the the holes look like they are starting to lose some of the poly from them. I drilled out the holes thinking the retaining pin wasn't locking in properly, hasn't seemed to help. I've contacted CAA I am waiting to hear back from them.

  3. I have a russian american armory saiga 12.When i first got it the firearm would cycle any ammunition now that i put the tapco t6 stock on it, It will not cycle any low brass ammo wally world special. And im using the md arms v plug?

Please help i need to know if i need to take it to a gun smith!

    Thanks

Well I think using basic troubleshooting we can rule out the stock, thats like saying putting an exhaust on your car will blow your engine. You probably need to adjust your V-plug, I fired my S12 for the first time this weekend since I converted it. And had two FTEs after 50 rounds, I adjusted my gas plug and had zero after another 100 rounds. I would try turning up the plug to the + setting one dot at a time till it fires the low brass. You should also check your gas ports to see if they are blocked or not big enough.

  4. I stand corrected. And hey, fromxtor, kiss the fattest part of my ass for the -1, The clothes, shoes, and guns looked too real on my little monitor and someone said they were COD figures which they certainly aren't. Now after seeing the full set of pictures, they are clearly toys. I was wrong.

You live and learn, its just the internet...it's not serious business.

Someone already replied to this, but here's a pic of one of their mission load outs.

Don't want to pick a fight but I doubt that that is a mission loadout pict; Looks more like a range display somewhere.

Most specop teams I have had the honor of associating with (a loooong time ago --2003 being latest) tended to minimize calibers (.45, 5.56, 7.62, etc) so that max ammo could be carried and redistributed as needed. Sights were pretty much standardized also -- what worked worked. Also the single tan/desert camo weapon gives it away -- too much "flash" for an op.

    No biggy, jus sayin.

^^No problem, thus was info given me by some of the spec ops AF guys I know. I'll probably have better intel in the next year or so as a friend of mine is in seal training. :smoke:
