  1. I made mine out of a scrap of D-2. Lathed it to a shape I liked and then milled flats front and back. Kinda copied Tromix shape but hollowed out the knob like a galil. And just grooved the top rather than knurling it. Milled off the original handle leaving about a 1/4" stub to weld to. With the carrier held in a vice to TIG the new knob on there was enough of a heat sink that the carrier was cold enough to hold after welding. With TIG you don't introduce enough heat to the carrier to disturb its temper.
  2. The hacksaw will work fine, Try to get a "lenox" blade with 24 teeth per inch. You will need a file to finish the cut off with too.
  3. No, no, no Rob. You're missing the point. You simply reach down, grab it, shoot it, re-rack it, roll over, hump the girlfriend and go back to sleep. You don't have to get out of the bed...that's the beauty. WOW YOUR WIFE LETS YOUR GIRLFRIEND INTO BED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Will keep up the good work!!! Ive watched 8 shows so far (all 4 so far,, twice) And the DVR is set to record em ALL
  5. I want one!!!!!!!!!!!!!! looks like a 50bmg brake! I looked on the website but didnt see it. HOW MUCH?? and WHERE DO I SEND IT!
  6. PIZDA, You need to check out the Speer Lawman rounds. They are reduced recoil 8 pellet 00 Buck (maybe a wee bit more punch than Federal bulk pack). Out of a 19inch Saiga-12 they will hold a 5 inch pattern at 25 yards with no flyers!!! They was designed so LE could take hostage shoots to the head out to this range. Anything closer and it is a lot like a slug but without the massive penetration. This stuff is really incredible. At 50 yards I was getting around 10 to 12 inch patterns from a 19 inch Saiga-12 with an occasional flyer. Tony and Bob tested it from an 8 inch SBS and was gettin
  7. I went with something honest when I names mine..."EXPENSIVE":lolol:
  8. Well technically yes...but realistically every man knows his position and everyones else's position in case things get mixed up. Also, the rear man usually comes up from the rear, breaches and rolls away from the door as the team enters and then he follows them in. It really depends on the building layout. Usually the #1 in the stack will breach then move to the side while #2 with a shield enters first. But in narrow halls, like a apartment buildings there just isn't enough room for the breacher to move far enough aside for the stack to enter. The "Masterkey" would be perfect for this
  9. Thanks for a great show!! And showing your shop and skills! The DVR was set to record them all as soon as I saw the first ad! Can I talk to you about a drum fed suppressed 12ga door breacher , belt fed .50bmg, flamethrower combo???? WITH a bayonet?
  10. Yes a shotgun makes a hell of a CQB weapon But not for a SWAT officer. If you knew everyone in the house was a bad guy just breach the door and go in with 00 buck. Unfortunately not everyone in a house are suspects. Wives or girlfriends and children are usually there as well. So if the perp decides to shoot it out the M-4 platform or H&K MP-5 are much more accurate for hostage shots (shooting around a hostage) that any shotgun.
  11. Way to go WILL!!!!! I want a suppressed masterkey!!!! For blowing locks quietly...
  12. Had it set in the DVR 2 weeks ago...lol
  13. The low power recoil spring isn't necessary. I shoot a lot of low brass bird shot loads and the spring lets me use less gas to cycle the gun. It means I got to change springs if I shoot buck or heavy loads. But I think its worth it. Thats just me though!
