Which to get : Romanian PSL or a Russian Tigr?
MrOneEyedBoh replied to MrOneEyedBoh's topic in Other AK Rifles
Ok cool, I seen a few Tigrs for sale on ARF and they went for around 2-2500 -
Did he adjust the plug? 1 for high brass stuff, and 2 for low brass. Also, are your gas ports visible? If so how many? Are any covered? use a paper clip, dental pick to make sure they are all the through.

Lets not be biased on the Tigr, since its Izhmash produced. I just have always been interested in these guns, and I was like "hmm, prolly should get one while I have the money". I DO want a Dragunov, but Im not going to dump that amount of money on it. So my choices are a Tigr or a PSL. Is there a BIG difference in accuracy? Im sure there is a tad better shoot ability with the Tigr, but does it warrant the extra 1000 or so bucks that the Tigr calls for?

yeah get a picture up so we can see. Do you know how to load it? Well take a picture, use paint to show where the issue is. Then goto tinypic.com. upload the picture and then select the code . Just highlight, copy and past it here.

not to hijack, but on the OP rod. isnt that a tad hard to install? Like it has to be indexed or something I think I read.

I would just get a new FCG. Its easier, makes the pull a bit shorter ( not really smoother, yet ) and you can polish the new FCG to make it more fluid. If you dud a pistol grip conversion Im pretty sure that you need to install a new FCG anyway. I would go with a texas double hook FCG, if you havent bought one now.

Problems attaching Tapco SAW grip with Tromix trigger guard

Damn dunno man. I used the screw that came with my grip from CSS. but that fit perfectly fine thru my grip into the bung that is part of the guard.. -
CRKT knives
MrOneEyedBoh replied to patriot's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
You cant really knock Chinese/Japanese steels... As long as the QC is there and the company is stiff on their QC then it will be good to go. Spyderco has quite a few knives made in Japan and China. And those are just as good as my USA knives. -
Okay, I did it! Removed the Clinton plate! Questions!

CRKT knives

Emerson knives all the way. ITs the fastest deploying knife Ive seen/know of. It looks faster than a switchblade and IMO is. With the wAve feature on the Emerson, as you pull the knife out its already in the process of deploying. With a swtichblade you have to pull it out and still hit the release button. -
