All I have left to do on my conversion is install the rear Magpul stock when it gets here, and the flat bullet guide as I ordered both the incorrect bullet guide and the wrong rear stock/pistolgrip. Do I need to worry about the canted sight....going to run an EOTech.

Got it! Man I gotta get this sleeve off the end...but first drilling everything out.....everything done except bullet guide, MAG RELEASE MOD, and Magpul furniture install. That was FAST. Took no time. Thanks CSS video crew! The Tapco mags do not fit the catch lever, seemingly by a ton, and I will mess with that later.

I purchased and will be installing the TWS gen 2. Yes there's shit already clamped to the barrel and I don't wish to clamp any more shit to it. I've shot with and without the Midwest and my accuracy improved. My opinion is the Midwest introduces extra harmonics which are undesirable..... YMMV and that's my $0.02....

Cool. Might look into it. I just don't like clamping to the barrel. Added a TDW dogleg today so that should do It for a while as it has a bunch of real estate and I'm not using iron sights at all. EOTech and PVS 14.....

I paid $335 for my Saiga 762, and $200 in really nice conversion parts. Ready to go just like i want and still a bunch less than Arsenal, etc.

Barrel harmonics change when you clamp something to it and you sacrifice accuracy for the convenient and cheap mount.

I won't use ANYTHING that clamps to my barrel. Hence, Beryl rail, and if it costs me $200-$300 then so be it. Also, turns out dumbass me ordered the WRONG friggin stock set.....damn, more waiting for a Magpul setup from CSS. Should have bought it in the first place.

Are the Beryl rails crap unless the are DPH? The lesser priced models are indistinguishable but doesn't the DPH have lock/unlock hardware at the buttstock that won't wear out? Hope they work with a Tapco combo rear......cuz that's what I got!

Any red circle/dot sights work? I'm using PVS14 NV monocular....not worried about iron sights. Would the beryl rail help?

I can't clamp anything to my barrel. Surely it must be possible without barrel clamping.....Beryl mount? That factory side clamp must suck.

I have seen firsthand that the point of impact changes with and without the MI installed. http://www.midwestindustriesinc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=241 Could we run the upper instead that clamps to the gas tube and a regular handguard lower?

I think they stopped making them, but I sent an email today to ask if they do. Phone wait time was interminable so I jumped off. That AK mount looks freakin solid and the Burris site is a nice litte sight, not expensive either. Anyone ever put their hands on one?
