Got my answer today, he does not work on Saiga's anymore. I had heard he stopped doing these awhile back but it does not hurt to ask. Any other suggestions?

I understand the NFA process I already have a couple NFA items- I am looking to see the feasibility/possibility of the barrel being chopped down and how far back it can be done without compromising reliabilityand who would be willing to do it?
  4. Is it possible to get my Saiga .410 barrel cut down to an AKS74U length (8.3") or does the barrel have to be longer? If so who is capable of doing the work? Thanks for any help or advice.
  5. Hello all. I am pretty new here I have 2 Saiga 12s one I have alreaady asked about. The otther one I want to put a PG stock on and make more like it's intended purpose. I have heard mixed things from people and done a little research through some of the aftermarket makers but I thought I'd come to the experts and see what works. From what you all have seen here it appears the weapons work fairly well but I have seen a few adjustable gas regulators and what I'd guess is called a puck. From what you all have seen are these worthwhile to change or are the factory ones satisfactory?

Why I don't want an optic for a shotgun as I have them on some of my other weapons. I like not having them on hunting shotguns (maybe I am just old fashioned) I plan on using this gun primarily for hunting. I have 3 other Saiga shotguns: 2ea .410s that after hammering out a few bugs work fine and 1 other S12 (that I have yet to shoot). It pisses me off though that I shell out out a bunch of moolah for what is supposed to be a quality product only to find that I cannot use it for hunting or anything else because it is so far off target. I was hoping someone had a trick or a remedy that w
  8. Hello, I am new here. I have recently purchased a Saiga 12 with a rib style sighting system mounted over the gas tube (I believe it is an IZ 108?). I took it out yesterday to zero @ 50 yds-the results were beyond dismal: It shot over 4 feet low and 18" left @ 50yds. with all the standard 2 3/4 slug loads I used (Winchester, Brenneke & Remington). After adjusting the the front end of the rib to its maximal elevation it was only 2.5 feet low before the adjustment wheel bottomed out. It is also still shooting 18" to the left. I had the gas system set at 2 for 2 3/4" shells
