  1. I was in a local pawn shop today. They had a couple factory 5 round mags for sale. What are these factory mags going for? The guy had $25 each on them. Seems kind of hi. What do ya think?
  2. I guess I should have clarified. I wasn't implying that red jacket thinks we are stupid. What I should have said was that I guess the producers think we are stupid and wouldn't have noticed the different gun being used, instead of the one brought in by the sheriff. It would have been nice to get an explanation of why the reproductin gun wasn't used. I do enjoy watching the show, but the final version Tommy gun looks like crap. Although I wouldn't pass up the chance to shoot it.
  3. How stupid do they think we are? The sheriff brings in a semi auto replica to convert. When will goes back into the shop, he is clearly carrying a different Tommy gun with a shorter barrel

  5. Take that piece of shit and send it my way. Seriously, I would remove the gas block and drill the holes out to .093-096. Then make sure that the block doesn't obstruct the ports in any way. If obstructed, oval the gas block hole with a file or drill bit until all ports are free flowing. This solved the problem on both of mine. I also installed a auto plug
  6. Still have not recieved a response
  7. Ok, bought a new 12 rnd sgm mag a couple weeks ago. Took it out to the local range to try out. Loaded a few rounds of buck shot. Shot one round, and the mag fell out of the gun. At first I thought I didn't have it in all the way. After close inspection, I noticed the front lip had broken off in the gun. I sent an email to the manufacture last Friday. I have yet to hear back from them. Anyone have any good luck with their customer service? Or is this a lost cause?
  8. Hope you have better luck with them than I did. One of mine broke after the first round
  9. Did the MOH recipient actually get to keep that working flame thrower? What kind of batfe hoops you got to go through to posses one of those?
  10. Range report: Ok I just got done shooting it. I installed the factory plug and set to 2. 2 shots and fte. Turned out the plug one turn back to 2. Shot 4 rounds and fte. Removed plug and installed auto plug. 1.5 turns clockwise and shot about 40 rounds of cheap federal bird shot No problems. Mixed up the ammo with some buck shot. Didn't miss a beat This gun is a blast to shoot. Thanks for the help. The only problem I am having now is my thumb knuckle is hitting the folding stock mechanizim. Starting to hurt a bit
  11. Ok, I was able to oval that hole just a bit. Now I can see all three holes from the plug side. I'm going to try the factory plug again then the auto plug. I'll see what happens
  12. It appears that the two front holes are right on the edge of the carbon ring
  13. I've got the block off. Can I just drill the hole between the puck and barrel a bigger diameter. Gettng a file in there might be a problem
  14. I have the tromix modified tapco g2. I did pollish the hammer a bit. I have not tried the factory plug since I opened up the ports. I will pull the gas block back off and see what I can do with the hole. Thanks
