  1. embrace your inner douchebag.... i do! besides, those greedy f**kers can't expect to go unchallenged. hmmm gold plated bore.... i bet its corrosion resistant!
  2. you good mileage gettin' bastard! im stuck feeding gas to my dakota. its a THIRSTY mofo. but i didn't have to plow my driveway last year, just threw 'er in 4... there, now i feel better about getting 14-16 mpg... no i dont... you good mileage gettin' bastard!
  3. here's izhmash's page on bizons. and no, sadly there is no civvy version.
  4. sorry, i'm clueless. but it does say "made in russia" i like the mount.
  5. i'm just speedy at researching. not an expert by any means.
  6. POCCNN (with backwards N's) means russia, probably the country of manufacture. i dont know any n8707's can you post a pic of the scope? that might help.
  7. remove the screw on the bottom front of the receiver. pull the handguard forward toward the muzzle. for the synthetic foregrip, anyway... not sure if wood is different.
  8. bummer. its still way cool. how are the optics? found this pic of the "kit"
  9. WWII Canadian Navy sighting scope. got the rubber eyepiece and the wood case?
  10. oh yeah! my bad... its just been so long since they killed him off.
  11. i'd say he's a sci-fi fan. with an avatar of ra from sg-1 and two sig quotes from babylon-5 and st-tng good quotes BRG3, btw... very poignant. edit: i was wondering about yours, G O B. i thought it was an album by pigface... but that was G U B i think.
  12. mine's just been my internet handle for years, and since i dont believe in changing nicks, im sorta stuck with it. first word in the dictionary, translated into the "1337" alphabet. i was both lazy, and misguided as a young'n. actually i still am both lazy and misguided, just differently now.
  13. that looks wicked cool. you should definitely go for the vertical charging handle, it would really add to the uh, er.... GALILITY!
  14. nah, that's just a milled bulgy ak with a bulgy 90 degree gas block. who on earth would tear out a saiga barrel and put it on a milled receiver? still very overpriced, though.
  15. i butchered up a romy retainer for mine. it's a true pain in the ass to do, since the .308 barrel is so much thicker than the 7.62 barrel.
  16. i had the same "catch". i ground the slanted face down little by little, testing often, until it fit.. it's still a very snug fit, but i figure snug is good. the main thing is that the gun works, so i'd suggest grinding/filing down the slanted face of the gas tube. edit: it would indeed matter if the tube sat lower, because the gas piston would bind.
  17. well, if the UN were in texas, then the conference would be there. i wonder when their lease runs out? lol
  18. very nice... and a bunch of counties are opened up for rifle hunting this fall psl for whitetail...that'd be the tits. muahahha. so how far was a click on your scope???
  19. this is confusing... my manual shows 6.5 cm movement per "scale indication" at 100m. which is 2.5" at 100m per"scale indication" there are 2 clicks per "scale indication", so thats 3.25 cm each click, or 1.25" i double checked the distance to my berm from my picnic table (where i sighted in), i had paced it off at 100 yds, but when checked by actually flipping a yardstick.... (yes i have too muh time on my hands), it is 88 yds, or just over 80m, so that should be 80% of the movement per click as 100m, which would be 1" per click, but i have 1/2, ...maybe 5/8 inch per click. im sorr
  20. yeah, 4moa sounds wrong, i didn't order the "pro version" and it's still half inch clicks at 100, which i think is big, since my other scopes are all 1/4 moa adjustments. 4moa adjustments and you might as well just use irons. :-/ mayby they sent me the good one for the regular price. lol
