he means the gas block.
it can be fixed by removing the 2 pins from the block, hammering it straight, re-drilling the pin holes slightly larger, and putting slightly larger pins back in.
If it's wayyy of, you might have a problem with the gas port(the actual hole in the barrel) lining up with the gas block when you've got it straight.
Is IZHMASH russian for POS or what?
not usually.

few here would disagree that the stock trigger is a travesty.

on my 21.8" s308-1,
measured with old brass calipers (not as precise as modern digital calipers)
the barrel behind the gas block measures: .75 inches
the barrel behind the front sight measures: .69 inches
the receiver is the standard 1mm.

Democrats are pro freedom of speech and anti-PC? I thought it was the other way around LOL, didn't democrats invent/start the whole PC thing? Who knows.
I think talking/arguing about democrat vs. republican is pointless though, in my opinion there is no difference. Both sides pretend like there's a difference during election years and pick a few points to take opposite sides on and argue about. They do their damndest to keep a third party out of the feeding trough. Then, when they get elected they all do what the money tells them to do, democrat or republican, liberal or conservative. Money runs things here.
All these pointless labels. I just want to be left alone and allowed to do what I want to do. I promise not to bother anyone or stop them from doing what they want to do unless they infringe on my right to do the same.
I guess that makes me a Libertarian.
yes sir, it does! welcome to the club.

sorry to ruin a nice story, but...
Fred McFeely Rogers: After graduating from Rollins College in Florida with a degree in music in 1951, he immediately embarked on a broadcasting career -- a career that continued uninterrupted for nearly 50 years, even while he studied for a Bachelor of Divinity degree, eventually becoming an ordained minister in 1962.
Bob Keeshan : born june 27, 1927 enlisted 2 weeks befor he turned 18. (several months after Iwo Jima) in a later interview he said he had joind the marines, but "saw no combat" since he "signed up right before we dropped the bomb"
Lee Marvin: entirely true (except the cap'n kangaroo part)
Snopes.com is a good place to check things like that. My Mom sends me stuff all the time and I have to email her back telling her it's not true.
yeah, and breakthechain.org
sometimes it sucks to ruin a good story, but y'gotta do it.

This is how ist going......you own a gun? lets put you on a phyc Ward! only crazy people own guns!
actually it pairs nicely with the screams for restricting those with "mental health issues" from purchasing firearms, post-VT.
i.e. "you own a gun, we'll send you to the psych ward : you've been in the psych ward, you can't own a gun"

Y'know, I watched that yesterday, and I tried to think of a comment.
Really, though, I'm just speechleess. My jaw actually dropped when i watched it.
I did, however, grin when I heard the word 'Kalashnikov'. I can't help it. I love AK's.
