I posted the message the person sent me. That is the only communication I have had. I don't know who it was, just assumed it was his wife. I don't know any more than anyone else. Last activity on GT was 0325 yesterday. No response to my PM's.

Whoever it was that messaged me, I asked for them to create an account here, and tell the story. Gave them the phone number that was suggested, too (Max?) I hope answers come in soon.

If you go Clipdraw, you might wanna find an option to cover the trigger, or go Israeli. Try Crossbreed Supertuck or Comp-Tac MTAC.

Damn Jamo-Matic! Never used the 100 round value pack before, and it jammed even on setting 2. That's with the factory 5 rounder, and the 12 round SGM. The bolt locked back a few times on the last round, but mostly did not. First time out, unconverted, it ran like a scalded dawg. Now, not so much. Time to buy a dremel, and when I get a few more mags, I'll ship 'em off to Cobra.

I'm in the middle of my conversion, and I found this: I looked, but there does not appear to be a spring for it. The part appears in my manual, but not online anywhere I have seen. I guess I don't need the spring for the conversion anyway, right? I do like the bolt open on an empty mag. Thanks! - MO

That's what I figgered. Losing 2" on the OAL is all the sweeter! Man, I got some reading to do. Lot's of parts to review, and a bazillion or at the very least a dozen or so Q's that will need A's. I want this rig done right!

I see that there is a 7.5" ACE stock, I'm guessing it's a bit shorter than what I have pictured? That would be preferrable. Sorry about being n00bish... this is my first AK, and first non-.22 semi-auto. I learn fast, though.
