Anyone ever try mounting the Surefire 918 (or 618) FA on a Saiga? What kind of fitting do you think it would require? I would love to see one made for it

Anyone see the AGP mags? Are they real or just vaporware? http://www.agparms.com/home.php

Hey all, I have a dilemma. I'm possibly looking at buying a Saiga 12 conversion, and I'm not sure what to do. Atlantic Firearms has already converted Saiga 12's by Red Jacket for $750. And I know Tromix does conversions on existing Saigas for $350. My question is, what is done by each shop when they "convert" a Saiga? Any one place do something different/better/worse than the other place? The only thing I noticed was Red Jacket does a more conventional looking trigger guard (which I like) compared to Tromix's angular version. Will Tromix (on request) make a more rounded trigger guard? Will R

What is the Tromix stock made from, and what is the ACE made from? Thanks Rich

The nice guys at Atlantic have been emailing me back. They are conversions done for them by Red Jacket. They have an Ace folder and a 5 year warranty. Now, is Red Jacket good or are they like Joeken, Hesse, etc? Rich

Hey all, While perusing a "guns for sale" type website, I came across a Saiga 12 with a side folder. It's NIB and came like that from the factory. Anyone know anything about the quality of the factory side folder? The price is significantly higher than a "regular" Saiga 12 (about the price of buying a conventional one, and sending it to Tromix for conversion). I was just wondering if it would be better to just get that or send a "regular" one to Tromix. Thanks Rich
