  1. I'm looking for a good condition forearm to fit my S20 to replace one that was cut to accommodate a scout rail. I'm looking for plastic or wood. Please cantact me by posting in this thread. Thanks
  2. Hi, It's been a while since I have dabbled over here, my AR addiction has taken precedence the last couple years. I am looking to replace the forearm on my Saiga-20. I had cut the original to clear a scout rail that I had machined to fit over the gastube. I am currently working on refinishing the shotgun and would like to replace it. Where is the best place to find a new replacement or a used on that is in good shape? Thanks
  3. I've had the shotgun for almost 3 years. It has seen close to 300rnds of 3" mag, 50-70 rounds of slugs, and probably 300 rounds of mixed 2 3/4.
  4. Knowing my luck I'll take 20 tons. Polishing the internals didn't help with the light loads, I'll try the 1911 spring next.
  5. I tried pulling my gas block off the other night to measure my ports but it didn't seem to want to budge with the hammer. I has the two pins pounde tod out, and wasn't sure if i needed to take the one that connects the gas tube to the trunnion out. Any helf would be appreciated. Thanks
  6. Yea, this one is going to be totally custom, there is no way I could economically maunfacture these. I have about 4 hours in the front blade already, and probably 3 more to go. The rear sight will be mounted on a custom mount that fits over the gas tube that I also machined myself. The rear mount has an interchangeable weaver rail for my red dot, as well as an interchageable mounting rail for the rear open sight. hopefully I'll get pics of the compleated parts next week, and them on the gun in a few. Later guys
  7. I have one in progress. Being machined out of a billet aluminum block, will be set up to accomidate adjustable fiber optic sights. I'll try and post a picture when I get it done.
  8. FYI, I don't know your sighting system, but I would have a hard time hitting a microwave at 50 yards with the stock irons. I machined a custom mount and added a BSA red dot, and the thing shoots like a dream, less than 2" groups at 50, and on the paper no problem shooting standing up freehand.
  9. I shoot my 20ga 19bbl with slugs for deer hunting. I have a red dot mounted on a custom mount, and the gun shoots better than the 870 that i used to use. I have used Federal, Winchester and Reminton slugs in my day. I only trust Remington 5/8oz 2 3/4" very accurate and plenty of power.
  10. The tapco made it about 10 hours in my case before the hinge gave way. Junk, stay far far away.
  11. Did, 3" wont fit into the 2 3/4" mags no matter the brand.
  12. Wish I could, but it the landing we use is not ours and there is no way to do that. Oh well, looks like I'm going to cave and get a Benelli Nova 12ga.
  13. It's coming off. The dot dissapears against the bright sky. Thanks
  14. Like an inch or two?
  15. I was wondering how well a weaver rail will re-index when you take a sight off, and then put it back on. I have a red dot sight sighted in for deer hunting, but would like to take it off for hunting ducks. I will not have a chance to sight in before hitting the deer woods. I can't dee it being very far off due to the relitivly inpreciseness of the red dot type sights. Any imput would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys
