  1. Thanks Nailbomb, I appreciate it...isn't the the stock(the one from KVAR) you have on your Saiga 12? I know I saw someone on here with it I think...they currently have the stocks for both milled and stamped receivers in stock...I ordered the stamped one but actually have one for a milled receiver that I ordered a while ago because thats all they had at the time, they are only 10 bucks so if anyone wants them go check out KVARs site, I also ordered the long screw for the grip section....I will give an update when all work is complete. thanks Yeoldetool I appreciate it
  2. Hey all, I just ordered the JT Engineering Competition Brake for my saga 12 from Carolina Shooters. I live in NY and like most that live here are fed up with the stupid gun laws here...just a quick question for you fellow NYers..if I moved the trigger group forward using the tromix FCG(3), changed the gas puck to the CSS(1), put on a UTG Rail system(1) and used US made mags(3), I would be 922r compliant correct??? Would the Thumbhole stock from KVAR be legal in NY? I believe I read in another thread that it is...and last, just confirming if the brake mentioned above has to be pinned and welded
  3. YeOldetool---Thats the exact stock i was looking at and from the same place..Just ordered it LOL--is there anyway you can explain what you had to do to modify the stock? I am assuming that was for a milled receiver and you modified it? Thanks..your s12 looks great..Are you from NY?
  4. Yeah, I saw that stock-was going to order it but there is some question as to wether thats legal and considered a thumbhole stock in NY or not. I also wanted to put in the tromix trigger group but you cant wit this stock..I hear the tromix trigger is very light and smooth. Not sure what to do here. The one I was looking at was def a thumbhole but the problem was its only for milled receivers, cant find any other anywhere else. The one i was looking at is a bulgarian thumbhole in black synthetic...Thanks for the link to that one though-i appreciate it and may wind up going that route
  5. I am new to this site and unfortunately live in NY where just saying the work gun is illegal LOL...I recently found a thumbhole stock that looks pretty good considering, only problem is its for a milled receiver...Is there anyway this can be made to fit the stamped receiver that is on the saiga 12? If not, can anyone suggest a decent looking thumbhole stock that would work? These stupid ass NY laws are killing me. 13 years to retire then Florida here i come LOL..Also, I would like to do the FCG on my gun as well, so I would need a thumbhole stock that would allow this to be done thanks John
  6. I found another thumbhole stock I like, black synthetic--only problem is its for a milled receiver. is there anyway for this to work on a stamped receiver? I know it wont work the other way around but is there anyway to get it to work this way?
  7. Those stocks look good for a thumbhole stock--cant seem to find them anywhere online though, just cant see spending 349 for another gun LOL..I guess i will just have to keep searching till something comes up...Thanks for your help, your guns look great!
  8. Any idea where I can find any of these stocks? I googled them and cant seem to find any for sale anywhere...will any AK47 thumbhole stock fit on the saiga 12? These NY laws are rediculous LOLI appreciate your help, thanks so much!! Do you have any pics of yours with the Bulgarian style stock? I live down in westchester county and unfortunatey dont know many places that carry stuff for the saigas or work on them for that matter. I saw a nice Bulgarian synthetic one on gunbroker but that was it
  9. Nailbomb, are there any American made thumbhole stocks that I can put on the saiga 12--I am also looking to to trigger work to it. I was looking at the tromix trigger group but found out today it wont work without a pistol grip because the assembly has to be moved forward...do you know of anything that will work here? What mods do you have done to yours and still keep it under NY compliance?? The more and more I am in the liberal bullshit sate the more and more I want to move out!! 13 years left to retire- think Florida is looking better and better every day LOL
  10. I hear these Mak90 and Maadi stocks will fit the saiga 12's with very little modifications... do you have to move the trigger group forward for these? I live in NY unfortunately, and I wanted to put the tromix trigger group into my saiga 12 but unfortunately they tell me you have to put a pistol grip on to move the trigger forward in order to use these parts and as we all know the wonderful state of NY does not allow pistol grips on these shotguns...so if anyone can help me out, what are my options here besides moving out of this liberal state LOL...anyone who lives in NY and has modified ther
  11. Hey Nyers-I am new to this site and live in the miserable liberal state of NY with you guys LOL--I live in Westchester County, so things are worse down here where the county even regulates wether you get a full carry pistol permit or just a target/hunting permit....anyway I recently purchased a Saiga 12 and I am looking to do some mods to it---what do you recommend as far as performance parts? That skeleton stock in the picture above, is it legal in NY on a shotgun? I see alot about this tromix trigger group, can that be installed even if you dont move the trigger forward? Any help would be gr
