  1. that was it, the pistol grip corner was barley touching, shaved her down a bit and good to go, thank you
  2. So today i took my saiga 7.62x39 out shooting today for the first time since the conversion, everything works about good other than after every round the trigger doesnt fully go back, i have to flick it back foreward with my finger, and then it will shoot again, i cant quite seem to figure out why, everything looks like its in good shape and in the right places, any ideas?
  3. Just finished her up, i went with the more "modern" stocks with the original feel to it. have to love k-var
  4. I was searching around a bit to find out where to buy a die to thread the barrel of my saiga, and stumbled across this http://www.wttool.com/product-exec/p...ed_Metric_Dies for $15 is a good deal, im not sure if everyone knows about it or what not, but never the less if it helps there it is. (if it doesnt come up to the product just type in 14x1 LH die in the search)
  5. Just ordered just about everything under the sun, from gas tube to furniture, as far as the bullet guide i did that like a week ago for using surplus mags, i used the same 18v drill and patients, worked like a charm, got the kit from dinzag that came with a drill bit and a tap and worked out perfect.
  6. thank you very much, that is basically exactly what i was looking for, just ordered everything up, so as soon as it comes in may the conversion begin, i really appreciate all of the quick help i got with this.
  7. I appreciate the quick reply, that is just awesome. I was poking around on the site, and also found a video that breaks it down a bit (idk if i can post links but heres what i found - vimeo.com/2787027) I was on dinzagarms website and see like 4 different trigger groups, im wondering whats the better of them or if even it is full, i also see a dissconnector spring will i need to order that seperate, i dont want to be like halfway through this and be down a part like a stupid spring, but i dont want to buy a bunch of stuff i dont need if it comes in the kit or what not. This all may be dump rep
  8. Hi, I am reletively new to the Saiga 7.62, ive owned it for about 4 months now and am wanting to make the jump into converting it, after reading through the fourm a bit with all the different opinions and what not i guess i am a bit "overwhelmed" for lack of a better word. My question(s) are, what are all of the parts needed (more or less a complete parts list), and also looking at all the fire control goups as an example, which one would be the best, i noticed there are 5 or 6 different options for just about every part out there, so which would be best for different things (example - pistol
