  1. You forgot the part where you remove the barrel and barrel trunnion to drill a hole in the trunnion for the front latch pivot pin to be installed into. The trunnion in the picture is parkerized.
  2. Folks just don't realize that quite a few of the parts you can put on a Saiga are universal across the line (shotguns and rifles).
  3. [lisp] Don't you have any fashion sense? Dildoes work best attached to the bayonet lug! WooWoo! [/lisp]
  4. Is this an echo? Grip w/compartment - Saiga12.com
  5. Somebody makes an AK-rifle-to-AR-pistol grip adapter plate, which allows you to use any AR15 grip on your AK. I don't remember the manufacturer, but I didn't like the looks of'em, as it has your hand sitting a little too low (imho).
  6. Are you sure they've just not updated their site from the initial import?
  7. Have a look Picture Post, Lets see your Saiga 12!
  8. Saurez will talk up anything if you pay him enough.
  9. One shot per pull of the trigger is legal. Doesn't matter how fast you pull the trigger, or if you get physics to help you. You should ask Uncle Google or his cousin YouTube about "bump firing".
  10. So it's an out-of-spec Saiga. They're not perfect either (as many can attest to)
  11. Showing off an out-of-spec weapon doesn't show us anything. Just because it's "Arsenal of Bulgaria" doesn't mean it's perfect.
  12. You are correct. The rear sites are not adjustable. The front sight, OTOH, is adjustable for both windage and elevation.
  13. Your accuracy issues lie in the absence of a sight tool to adjust your sights. Your "increased resistance" issues are probably caused by not pulling the charging handle all the way to the rear and letting it fly (this "issue" is pretty commonly reported and evolves from folks not running their guns in a manly manner).
  14. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=39651&hl=why%20convert?&st=0 would be nice if the same post was stuck here as well... lol Dude, you'd have to make a pop-up window that pops up another copy when the first one is closed, and so on, and the only way to keep them from popping up is to actually read it and check the appropriate box in it. It's a sad fact that the majority of people do not read stickies, no matter how many there are or where they are. If they did read them, we could all spend a lot more time working on our Saigas, posting pix of our Saigas
  15. Spam-masters have taken to paying third-worlders a nickel an hour to sit in internet cafes and do nothing but sign up for forums and spam them (see "the wee hours") You can stop a spambot cold, but you can't keep humans out.
  16. No, not necromancy - Things to look for: • First post • First post in an ancient thread. • Post is made in the wee hours. • Post contains highlighted link(s) to buy something. The above 4 things don't necessarily mean it's a spammer (could just be a ignorant thread necromancer), but if all 4 signs are present, it's a pretty damn high probability it's a spammer.
  17. First: TANSTAAFL Second: Do you really trust Microsoft to produce a firewall/antivirus/whatever-the-hell-else-it-does that works when they can't even produce an OS that works like it's supposed to? Also remember that Windows has been caught several times sending info home to Redmond without the owner's authorization or knowledge. Microsoft's response "We store it under the user's MAC address (Nalioth says: this is the number assigned to your network card - each is unique), so we really don't know who anyone is." Do you honestly think that their "security program" is going to
  18. Sorry to get off focus, but how do you change mags with that VHG so close the the magazine? I agee with others here that ACE is the way to go Practice makes perfect.
  19. I have this same problem. Hence the side folding stock. Don't you guys know anything? You clean your barrels from the chamber end. There, now when you say you use the 'piss method', people will figure you're well endowed to reach the target area
  20. Most of the mods that can be done to the Saiga are "super easy with the most basic of tools", but folks seem to have all kinds of predisposed notions of "how hard it is", so they never try. Nice job, and I think you'll enjoy it.
  21. Chevyman097, you know that nobody can see your email address here if you add it, right? The forum uses a "blind form" to send emails to folks (the sender never sees the target email) You know, just sayin'
  22. If anyone else finds this thread looking for a build party, here ya go: Willing to help with conversions. Some of the folks in the thread can help with AKs, too. Nutical, you can email me from here, if you like. I have folks over all the time.
