First I would like to say "Thanks for all of your help" I finished the conversion today. I had to go and buy some decent drill bits. The Wal-mart crap I had would not go through the metal on my Saiga. The whole process is really straightforward. Second- Hey Caged, Yeah I don't think I am going to spend more money re-importing my S12. I read the ATF study cover to cover. Nowhere did I see anything about the anti-gun Nazis coming to my house and taking my S12. But if I do decide to import another one I'll be really careful cuz it ain't allowed.

I am getting ready to do my first S12 conversion and I have questions. I want to reuse my original trigger guard. When I remove the plate that covers the new location for my trigger, what new holes do I have to drill? I have seen alot of info for the rifle conversions but I need something for the S12. I know that I could use a Tromix trigger guard but after buying an EOTECH and a bunch of other goodies, I need to save some cash. My new Tromix trigger will be here Saturday but I would like to get started so I can drop the new FCG in. Can you guys help? I included a photo to show my progress so
