Yea but what "logical" person would want to use one of those braces... or an AR pistol?
-
Will do.
-
Oh, and I picked up a black afg, to fix that goofy look. Man that FDE was bugging me bad.
-
I like what you did. Looks good...but is it just the camera, or is that muzzle break warped?
-
Yea, had to get a 1/2" long m5 bolt. I made the sling loop from a piece of stainless steel cable trey.
-
Thank you. I'm working on a small mill rail for a C-more RTS. I think that will help this become a more enjoyable pistol by far.

What's the banana for?

So if you decide to part out this rifle, I'd like to get my hands on that damaged bolt.

I am pretty sure I can still kick his ass.
Wait till he's 13 he'll have your number for sure.

We did a black bar and white stripes on top for our kids. Through each of the belt transitions, so they always had some measure of accomplishment, it seemed like it was really effective in keeping their interest. We also had special gi patches made as rewards for maintaining good grades at school so to instill a strong body, requires a stronger mind.
Congrats to the young man.

I like it.

I tried to get him to scowl, but he was too danged happy... It wasn't even a test class, Instructor just called him out and gave it to him. Believe me he has a war face, screw with him while he plays World of Tanks, you'll see it.
Yea most the BJJ guys don't do formal testing. At least not for kids anyway. Once we see applying the technique successfully and consistently during full spar or drill it's time you know it's time to up the expectations.
At the adult level typically your exam is you paired up against another person of equal rank (at blue belt this is implemented) and you spar till somebody taps out, no time limits. Winner gets the belt.
Getting promoted in Jiu Jitsu is no easy task, you have to work for every stripe, so when you get a stripe or better yet full color change it's a great feeling! And of course congratulations to your son!

Great to see youths learning the ground arts. I taught them to children and adults for 4 years, nothing like watching young ones learn discipline and sportsmen ship with practical applications!
Keep rolling little one!

Maybe so. But I do know some people in the 40-50's age group that are exceptionally athletic even when compared to the 20-30s age groups. Now bare in mind those individuals have always been very athletic and have remained active their entire lives, and have competed professionally as athletes. It does however serve to inspire and reassure me that despite the inevitability of age, one does not simply have accept they will become weak and incapable of holding their place.

Don't get angry Captain Hero, Gunfun is still fun. The pain killers make him cranky is all.
He'll be back to handing out help technical knowledge in no time.. Maybe he'll adopt a cane, and pop pills becoming the "House" of the S12 forum.
Seriously Gunfun, glad your alright, that looks like it was a nasty crash.

The stock should be mounted at an angle. 3 degrees is proper.

Man I want one of those red 9's sooo bad!!
-
So then yea its on right.
If the hole faced down it would create upward thrust. The slots point UP and back.. makes sense.
-
The hole in the center faces down? How woud that help?
I would think that with the hole facing up, like every other comp i've seen allows gases to vent up thus creating downward thrust agaisnt the barrel combating muzzle flip.

Thats probably the nices 1919 I've seen so far.
