  1. That blows mancat. I'm a firm believer in a will. I prolly would have wanted to punched her. My papaw had a small room full. I suspect most of them went to my uncle. Hard to say. As long as they stay in the family I don't care at all. It's when people start selling them off adapt that pisses me off!
  2. Thanks Gary! I'm dying to shoot it! The coolest thing I got though was two boxes of his own reloads!
  3. Mine came that way. It's a shooter for sure. And yes, she's a 20".
  4. They shouldnt have taken shit down. People are too fucking hyper-sensitive now days, and the more they get, the more shit they'll try and get removed to suit their needs. Eventually they'll be so far up their own asses, they wont know what country they actually live in. These are the same type that actually believe government spewed lies. Theres no end to what level of stupidity they will believe.
  5. This thing is pretty, and will take a hog in the near future.
  6. Well I inherited a few guns from my papaw that died a few years back. He had an extensive collection of guns to say the least. I was fortunate enough to get three of them. Most of them went to other family members, but here's what I was left. I must say that I'm pretty grateful to be given anything. These will be passed down once I'm gone. The bolt gun came from Wards, and is a Sako l57 in .308, and we know what the "evil" looking gun is, and the pump is a Remington 870 special field. I look forward to sending some rounds down range next weekend.
  7. I can tell you a Mini 30 aint got shit on this.
  8. got some new toys. gunna get some pics up soon.

  9. That shits crazy. 300-700 yrs to clean up. Thats A LOT of munitions. Thanks for the read Chile.
  10. I hate them, and feel they are shit. Put the money towards a better, used gun that wont look like ass, and feel like it in your hand.
  11. My favorite is Hornady. It may not always be the fastest, or carry the most energy, but it's the most consistent, and some of the most accurate I've ran. They also stand behind their product. I also like Nosler, Winchester and Federal.
  12. Nice smallmouth! I bagged this fucker on a green fly about a month ago. This one was last years biggest bass from Tellico lake that I managed to bring in. This time of year they hit flies pretty good. Color depends on water conditions around here. Nice fish. If you think smallmouth are fun, wait until you hook a stripped bass, or better known as a rockfish! Indy's looks like a largemouth.
  13. This is fuckin epic. Give us some specs. You have to listen to taylor swift in it.
  14. deko, poly guns are good to go. Dont feel like they will let you down. They are proven weapons. If you prefer alloy framed weapons, then thats fine, but just dont sell yourself short with a fear that they may not perform to your standards. Rent a few. You'll be surprised in how well they shoot.
  15. Its all good johnboy. Welcome to the forum!
  16. Shouldn't be a worry here Yeah, not trying to come across as insensitive or whatever. I own a Tok and I like it, but despite its crudeness it's not a beginner's pistol. They can be mechanically fussy, especially racking the slide on an uncocked or half-cocked hammer. They're heavy. They're a pain in the ass to disassemble compared to modern poly striker pistols. They have a lot of muzzle flip due to the long, heavy slide and poor grip configuration. They're not drop safe. They don't have a manual de-cocker. They're just terrible all-around from the perspective of a first pistol, an
  17. Exactly. A polished turd is still shit! And this gun is no different. Not to mention the fact that the bore axis is lower then the buttstocks axis....generally this might be of benefit but they put a spring loaded folding stock mechanisms on it and the reason thats not that great of on idea is as follows: Ive seen a "teaser" video that IV8888 did just for his Facebook page. It wasn't Eric or the other skinny guy but the bigger gunsmith that created the Mosin "fugly stick" I believe. Well it seems that he was shooting high brass through a 5 round magazine and with each round, because the
  18. Sorry John, but a 1/2" moa? Really? is that at 25yrds? You do realize that I have to bust your balls. But until you post pics, Im going to have to place you in the same league as another past member who claimed the 80k round count. Dont take it the wrong way. Its just very unlikely. On a good day, these rifles in this caliber are usually good for maybe down to around 1.5-2 MOA, depending upon barrel length and trigger mods. Some may be better, but again, unlikely. Performing that mod wouldnt hinder accuracy anyways. Barrel harmonics have more to do with that than what you did. Your mo
  19. Dont fuck with my head, Im listening to Taylor Swift.
  20. I have run about 500 rounds through my Saiga sence the mod without a failure. I'm not the best shot but I can groupe !.5 moa before and after the mod . I enlarged and reshaped the ramp and polished it. It has fed flawlessly both rapidfire and regular. This is not a mod I recomend for everyone to do themselves but it can be done by a competent gunsmith. If you look closely at the bullet as it is being fed into the breach , it's easy to see where the nose of the bullet hangs-up . Just radius that and polish it and bingo. How does this grant you more accuracy, since your obviously a compe
  21. IMO, the best tactical .22 will be a 10/22 with an archangel stock. your still getting the reliable action of the Ruger, and being able to make it all mall ninja'd out.
  22. You mean: --- if the only thing you "know" is the distinction between them and constantly harass new people about it. That's the tacticool way.
