AFAIK, chaos parts are S12 only unless modified but again, afaik, only applies to the lower forearm.

I agree. In a world where bullets might matter you can't be picky. Regardless of caliber, being hit by a bullet will do damage. Regardless of caliber, you will go for cover when shot at. And I'm pretty sure an innocent bystander wound kills regardless of caliber. But while ammo is still plentiful, as far as handguns go, I'll avoid 45acp. Too popular imo.

I beg to differ. You underestimate the stupidity of today's society. One particular fella here recently even suggested stocking piling ammo because with guns you can take whatever you like. Too true. Reminds me of this motivational poster I once saw: Sure, you can take whatever you want if you have a gun...but you better damn well hope you're the only one packing. Wicked bad juju comes to those, and their loved ones, with that sort of behavior/mentality.

IMO if shtf tomorrow all ammo is going to be rare. People are going to stampede and pick the stores clean. Ammo and food. Of course that's worst case scenario among other things. I'm assuming this topic was started on the basis that food and water are in good supply? Nobody should have to be reminded that they need to eat or take care of their family, that's just offensive.

I've seen several S12 YouTube videos by PFIdude mentioning a gas system overhaul. After a google search on the subject and checking the PFI site, there's nothing that I've noticed that mentions is actually done for the overhaul other than it improves gas efficiency. What is actually done to the saiga for an overhaul (aside from sending it out to someone who can do it)?
