Haha, the only thing i have to trade is an aluminium receivered fa-91 that looks about the same as that... otherwise, id be all about it. I think im going to wait for an actual hk91 on a stamped steel receiver, get the best of all worlds... it is a nice looking rifle, and if i wasnt waiting for the more HK version, id be all over it. Oh and i was thinking about some .308 hunting next season, do you mind if i ask where you find a 5rd mag?

Speaking of salt rock shells, a chemicaly inclined friend of mine loaded a few shells with NaOH (Sodium hydroxide also known as lye or caustic soda) granules. Not sure about the legality there, and im sure there would be zero justification for anyone ever using such a round, but im sure it would burn like hell. As far as i know, they were never tested. be neat to see though, if i do say so. Just my anecdote of the day. Oh, and OC stands for Oleoresin Capsicum, yeah, the stuf in pepper spray. im not sure how effective it is in shotshells, though the most effective looking setup ive

Cheaper than dirt accidently sent me a 5.45x39 30rd mag with my last order, they didnt want it back, and i dont have a rifle to put it in. unless someone can think of something fun to do with it, ill give it to anyone who wants it, though the chance of me waking up early and going to the post office are very low. Now that i think about it, its probably not even worth thinking about, with the 30$ 12 packs of mags availiable, unless someone wants to meet up in northern AZ and go shooting or the like. Well, maybe i can make one of those AK mag mp3 players or something. I saw one somewhere.

Just my two cents on the Detachable mags: everyone seems to have problems with the Yugos, but my old roomate bought a chinese with a fixed mag, bought a whole box of sks mags at a gunshow, various makes and sizes, and we shot the hell out of it, never had any problems with any of them, other than one of the 50 rounders not feeding the last couple rounds very well, but thats to be expected from any 50 round mag, it was mostly for looks, i think. (it did look impressive.) Too hard to load by hand too. Like i said, the 20, 30, and 40 round mags worked fine, and we must have fired off thousand

Id love to see an underfolder, and think it is a great idea. That pad might be a good idea. Actualy, that pad might be a good idea for my 7.62x39 too. K var is sold out of them, anyone know where to pick one up? Not to totally jack the thread, i should say something related to the subject. If im not mistaken, all you would have to do is pull an underfolder off of say a yugo parts kit, and cut the holes for it to fit. Is that right? or do you actualy have to rivet a carrier plate over the receiver?

I liked Kerry, because after being somewhat badgered on some "I dont think there is a justification for citizens owning asault rifles" statement he made, he admitted having one or more Ak-47's in his safe at home. heh, the way i see it, he wasnt really flip flopping, he was just confused... Didnt vote for him, but still. Ak-47 owner for president, that might have gotten him elected. (at least around here.)

I just picked up a "nearly new" Yugo Underfolder (two mags out of the box) a few days ago, and man was i impressed. Clean and smooth. Not sure what to do to it... i should probably leave it alone, but i dont really see that happening. Very nice AK's and a good price.

If that is your philosophy, call interordance and get their 100 g3 mags for $100 deal. A great idea, then you could get 25 g3's and still have four mags for each. Now if i could just find a nice deal like that on the 30 rounders, (which seem to fit in the magwell better, and are a bit tougher) id be all set.
