  1. That might explain why they had tons of it sitting around... Hopefully all of the customers in that area are too smart for that.
  2. The guns don't seem to have appreciated all that much yet. There are plenty on gunjoker for only slightly elevated prices and a few that are seriously modded (optics, custom paint, etc) that are being sold for around $2k. If you had to make a call on the value for insurance purposes I'd probably say $1300-$1500 just from snooping around the market and knowing what the stuff you put on it costs.
  3. I wonder if this was a "Carradine"? I also find it interested that Barry has already made a statement about William's death but doesn't seem to have much to say about the riots..
  4. Saw a chick that looked just like her yesterday at Wallyworld... The price of meat was up then too...
  5. At least in Cup racing they already are... They're aero limited too... Its funny how analogous NASCAR is to 2A rights when you start to think about it... Most of us would be prototype racers, about as close as it gets to unlimited, at Le Mans if we had our way in that regard...
  6. And that is exactly what happened... I really liked Herman Cain and would have been proud to cast my vote for him as the first minority true president. My tune may have changed if he has stayed in the race and more info came out, but from what I saw I liked him. He didn't buy into the bullshit baiting... Here's what got the votes instead... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUax320ezkA
  7. Ultimately I hope this doesn't do anything to effect the small track racing scene in a negative way. Small race tracks are getting closed all over the country as it is and people like Stewart are a big draw to the small tracks when they decide to swing by (Eldora is absolutely jam packed when he turns up... granted, that's his own track). If the civil suits go nuts the big dogs will stay home and attendance will continue to dry up. I really don't have much interest in NASCAR, or the characters and vehicles in it, but I do enjoy racing... Especially at the level of competition where "every
  8. That picture seems oddly familiar to me... I must have seen it on Discovery before back when I had cable...
  9. Well, since none of us internet people were there we may never know if Stewart revved at him, and consequently lost control of his car, or not... BUT.. Considering the entire field EXCEPT the car involved with the accident managed to miss the guy, and Stewart's car seems to be going quite a bit quicker than the rest of the field after a full lap had gone by, I'm going to say it was him. Call bullshit all you want.. I don't think he intentionally mowed the dude down, but we all know how calm and collected Stewart is as a "professional"...
  10. For those of us that can't have an SBS (about the only negative firearms thing we do have in IN) that is a very appealing shotty... Just looking at gunjoker prices at $900 (I'm even assuming that's high) its actually not a terrible value either when you consider all of your S-12 mags plug right in. That guy with a 8 round mag would make a very sweet HD piece. Even better if you can fit up a wrist brace and if that would be legal... hummm... I'll have my eye out for one someday.
  11. Let me make sure I understand this... You belong to a 2A group that thinks this is ok???If so, may I recommend that you stand up to your 2A group and let them know that this is not acceptable... Yeah, imagine that? Our same group also originally agreed that the "Assault" ban in 98 was acceptable because it lengthened carry permits from a 4 year renewal span to a 6 year.....I as well as many have already voiced opinions to them but you can't change how people in this state think. I just hope it goes to court and is thrown out I hope you don't pay this "group" any dues and simply show up
  12. I wouldn't even have worried about the price after informing him of the felony he had sitting on his shelf... I assume that was part of the conversation?
  13. That's a dang good price.. Wish I could still afford to play! I was kicking myself for skipping them at $349 a few years back.
  14. The last I knew, any time a service weapon leaves its stored location the cop is supposed to be put under review even if its clearly justified. The idea of police just drawing on people during traffic stops concerns the hell out of me. I hope times HAVE changed...
  15. Looks to me like an unfortunate chain of events based on bad decisions by both Stewart and the other driver. The guy should have never got out of his car and Stewart should have never goose the gas (IMO he just intended a "fuck you" by doing it) playing with the guy. They both made poor choices and now one of them is dead. That's racing.
  16. ...and our president can't even potato salad... ...not even from a deli counter.
  17. I don't think your skirt matches your shoes!
  18. Apparently, some of these "guns" were so bad they only met BATFE's legal definition of a firearm...as the article below put it, "any metal object with a serial number on it". I think they were laughing too hard to feel bad about anything. http://www.shotgunnews.com/news/chicago-buyback-gets-blowback/ That's even better then! They could have kept all of the stocks too! I'm glad this type of shit doesn't happen where I live, yet, but a part of me sort of wishes it did so I could "play along"... There is a member here of somewhat notorious reputation (please no names if you remember
  19. The has actually been my biggest fear of his presidency from day one even more so than the policies that we all knew he was going to implement... That someone would at least attempt assassination and probably use a firearm to do it (I'm honestly shocked that it hasn't happened a few times already).. That would slam the books on us forever and galvanize him forever as some legendary hero of the American people. Just look at the way the media treats other celebrities (which is what Barry is) when they die... Michael Jackson? Heath Ledger? Phillip Seymour Hoffman? etc... I recently said in an
  20. It would be great to roll in there with a case of 91/30s (literally still in the crate), parted out like the one shown in the picture, and straight up make money off of their program by selling off the parts. I would feel kinda bad about taking working firearms and parting them, but not so bad that I wouldn't do it just to shove it up Rahm's stinky ass..
  21. I can understand a dented mag that catches on the follower being a problem. I suppose in my mind that is different from "rusty and broken", but probably only in MY mind. I suppose I don't consider a dent (a block of wood and few minutes should fix that right up to "good enough") to equate to "broken" but it makes sense that SG wouldn't want to walk in that gray area. $4 for a mag for anything is pretty awesome. Spare nerf mags cost most than that!
