Product Review: Mako Recoil-Reducing Tube and Stock
allanonmage replied to erwos's topic in Product Reviews
I'm curious on the tube vs stock 922® legality. When I first heard of this product it was a kit that included the tube and stock and so was originally planning on chewing up a foreign part. I'm glad to head they have broken out the tube as a separate piece! If the tube doesn't count as a foreign part, I'll use a USA made stock and get the best of it all: recoil reduction with more US made parts! I'm guessing that the tube and a stock with a butpad should be good enough for me. Does anyone have a link to an ATF letter or a better explanation on the tube's 922® classification? I know that -
Mossberg style/barrett style muzzle break for S12?
allanonmage replied to Jdhonda810's topic in Saiga-12
The muzzle brake shown by saiga tech looks like a similar design to the ar 30/50 brake. Its like $170ish on their website. However, I'm now more interested in the safety selector on the pistol grip. Is there an article or how-to or kit for me to do it too? -
I talked to a guy selling quad rails on eBay for $50. He said something about the screws being made in China so it didn't count as a 922® part but that in a month or so the new batch should qualify. That was over the summer and I've been keeping an eye on eBay Saiga 12 rails, but I haven't seen any advertise for 922® compliance. I don't mind spending ~$100 to get a 922® compliant part, so I think I'll order mine from Carolina Shooters Supply since they advertise their UTG part as 922® compliant. Since someone mentioned hardness and the Chaos version: what's the difference? Is it a harde

So I have some spent casings and links that I am putting back together to make a belt. I thought it would be cool to hang on the wall somehow. However, hanging it straight down I think would be lame. My roommate mentioned about adding christmas lights in place of the bullets, but I don't want to damage the casings (in case I get a good offer or want to reload them). We thought about part of a circle, pointing up, and maybe a diagonal line, but it didn't strike me as "badass". So far, I have almost a 4' belt and I'm somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 way done assembling the pieces I have. W

Because it has a 20 round drum. If I were to use, or even want to use, it in a real situation, with a drum that large, I'd probably be defending a position (ie MINE if zombies were coming at me). lolwut? You talk about using it in a "real situation" and then follow it with talking about defending your position from incoming zombies. I thought "zombies" is the PC (politically Correct)/neutral term for any of the following: mob of angry people mob of infected people home invaders any other kind of hostile mob with me as their target SWAT Team Military team militant/organiz -

Actually, HDMI cables are a crapshoot: brand or price has little to do with determining quality. They ALL pretty much suck. A better example would be USB cables: those are pretty much good across the board and you don't need expensive ones. -

The poll has served it's master well: Seems the only people posting comments are people that would not use airsoft accessories on firearms, and some other people that chime in with something similar to say. -

Because it has a 20 round drum. If I were to use, or even want to use, it in a real situation, with a drum that large, I'd probably be defending a position (ie MINE if zombies were coming at me). My thoughts are drums are great for stationary, slightly mobile situations, as opposed to convenient for fire & maneuver situations. On the Saiga, for fire & maneuver type scenarios, 1 or more ~10 round magazines (with less weight and bulk) would be better, and that's why I want something that can double as either fore grip or bi-pod. I haven't tried to reach around the drum yet (I have ye -
I have seen precanned letters written by lawyers to send to senators and law makers, is there something like that available now? I'd hate to write a letter to the ATF that was interpreted the wrong way. Conversely, writing a hatemail letter would not do much for the cause either...

So are there any torture tests or benchmarks for any of these furniture accessories, be they meant for airsoft or firearms? -
Hello!! n00b here! I've been wanting to buy a Saiga for a while now, and this year decided to buy one, OF COURSE at the time when they are most scarce (lol)! Buying one was last weekends adventure, so I already have one (bought two, actually), and was looking to find some accessories for it. This is what I want: but I'm cheap so I don't want to pay $100 for a foregrip, even if it's a bipod too. See, the main reason I don't want to pay that much is because I know it doesn't cost that much to make them (a few years ago at a gunshow they went for $40 - $60). Stingyness aside, i would l
