  1. I haven't had my chance to get any Rio. I lightened my wallet on some of those clearance slugs. Not a bad deal.
  2. Saw the century and I'm real tempted at the moment.
  3. Just checked and one of the places is Sportsman Warehouse although I've never seen it there. I'll ask next time I go and get some if they have it. Let you know how it works when I can get it. Domidarko They also list a low recoil version of 00.
  4. Checking it out. Thanks for the info. I kept getting sidetracked every time I thought about searching for more information. It seems I have a bad habit of finding new parts I order when I start looking up information on any of my firearms.
  5. That's my issue with any ammo over the Internet, it costs so much to ship there is little to no cost savings. I had the same issue with targets. It cost the same to ship a boat load of what I wanted one time as it did to ship a few. They weren't the cheapest target so I had to find a few interested people to make it worth while. Love the profile picture. I've joked about doing the same thing, but just feel a little strange next to the 5k purpose built over and unders on the range.
  6. I've never seen this local. Any idea where I can order some to try?
  7. So.....visiting family for the holidays I had access to my brother's machine shop and decided to press the barrel out and re-cut the end a bit. The process I used this time was to turn a piece of Delrin into the shape of a shell with a thicker rim. I used it to press against and pressed the barrel out. I chucked the barrel in the lathe and turned a bit off to true things up. I then followed advice I found elsware and made a T shaped tool with 2 adjustable bolts that sits in the chamber so you an press the barrel in straight. The tool makes all the difference when pressing it in. The time
  8. Looking at the LLC Registration, Vince is the agent and Vince, Charlie and Joe are the officers of Red Jacket Firearms, LLC. Vince is also the agent for Mesa. Just public information. Has nothing to do with the fact that Red Jacket builds quality firearms.
  9. Until I broke mine in and made some minor adjustments , I just ran the lighter spring from CSS and it worked fine for light loads.
  10. Like SB said. Those rivets can be a PIA. The CSS trigger guard is a very nice easy to install option.
  11. I should have posted after I fit the mag last night. I was done maybe 10 min after my post. I took the weapon apart to get a good view and saw the front lug contacting slightly which I trimmed. Once it was seating fully the release was still hanging on the rear so I filled and fit. Taking off enough to remove the deeper marks the release was leaving. Now it fits great. Once adjusted the fit is night and day between the factory mags which flop around in comparison. I was concerned that the rib on the back side would make it hard to hold when inserting, but once it's adjusted it loads very we
  12. Got the mag today and love it. I was suprise that it's really only about 2 rounds longer than the 5 rounders that come with the weapon. The look and finish is great. I do need to make a small adjustment to the fit. I'll check out your documentation before hitting you up with any questions.
  13. I was feeling inadequate so I'm picking up an S12. After shooting it I like them both. My next purchase shall be a flintlock. That way after the oil wars have destroyed the face of the earth I can save my ammo for when it's really needed.
