  1. Hey guys, wanted to get some suggestions on a tac light to mount on my saiga. Now i know 90% will say surefire all the way, which I would probably agree and may come to that, but I wanted to know if there was anything else out there that will hold up to the recoil of a 12 gauge and maybe cost a little less. I like the streamlights but the one I had been looking at, everyone says it will not stand up to 12 gauge for very long. So basically im just trying to find the best Bang for the buck. Thanks guys.
  2. I would just love for you to show me and everyone else here where we can buy that ammo for NEARLY the same cost as wal-mart, with shipping costs added in. Actually, Academy is around the same price as Wal-Marx and has a greater selection of ammo. When I can, I shop there. As for your question, the online prices end up being lower than Wal-Marx when you buy in bulk. You ARE correct though, if I go online I will not find a better to-my-door price on any single box of ammo than by going to Wal-Marx... Well the nearest academy for me is an hour away, so I cant justify driving an h
  3. Then what the hell are you doing in the S12 forum...

  5. I sure hope your right. If the damn thing cant even take 2 3/4 slugs, what a piece of shit for 45 bucks. I can understand the 3" stuff but regular slugs? fuck that.
  6. Yea.. A little too steep for my wallet.
  7. Hmmm. Guess I'll have to try the 2 other wal-marts near my house. Because apparently building 3 wal-marts within a 20 mile fucking radius isnt overkill by any means.
  8. I loveeee my magpul stock. Still feel the kick but hell, it looks alot better! Go to Carolina shooters supply and browse.
  9. yea man, My saiga will not even put up with that win uni shit. But it loves the federal bulk. Id just shoot it all through the 870. And is it just me, or is my wal-mart the only one that I cant seem to find the federal blue box everyone keeps talking about. Maybe im not looking in the right place, Is it in the actual ammo glass case?, or supposed to be sitting out with the bulk stuff in the open?
  10. Nawww. Go with a 20 gauge man. Save yourself alot of money on ammo and still wont kick as bad as the 12
  11. Who said anything about full-auto? LOL. Spaniel sure got quiet after that one.
  12. Go to amazon. I checked last night. They a 240 lumen. a 450 lumen and a 700.
  13. type "Guide Gear Tactical light" into google and see if you like that. They sell them through sportsmanguide.com, and I think amazon. They have one thats like 230 lumens and one thats 700 lumens and it already comes with a mount to go on a picatinny. And I believe they come with a pressure switch or you can also use the button. the 230 lumen is like 30 bucks. They say they will withstand the recoil of a .50 BMG. Who knows. give it a try.
  14. Well if tac47 themselves recommend not shooting magnums with the plug, then thats a deal breaker for me im afraid. Why should I have to change out plugs just to be able to shoot 3"?
  15. I was sold on the autoplug till I read that. I wanna shoot whatever, whenever, however, no if's and's but's or exceptions. Looks like I need to find a different plug. That's why I'd like to see actual range tests like carrier/rear block contact or further explanation from TAC47. It would not be the 1st time something was used outside of it's intended parameters. I hear ya. I'd buy one if I knew straight from TAC47 that I actually can use 3 inch shells regularly. Yea, I was just thinking the same exact thing. I was just getting read to put in an order for one, until
  16. hell yea man, nice purchase. I dont care how much shit people talk about taurus or rossi. They make good stuff. I have a taurus 357 magnum that is a blast to shoot.
  17. Yea, that would catch someone off guard, lol. Thanks for the input.
  18. I plan on buying some more 3" eventually. I have two 3" slugs that I havent shot yet. Which of these two plugs do you use nail?
  19. I wouldnt say its set AND forget. From everything ive read about it. After so many rounds, It does need adjusting again slightly. Not that it shouldnt anyways.
  20. you are def. right about the price difference. I just was not aware that the v-plug had been out that long. I figured both were relatively new.
  21. I searched for info on both products. Did not find a poll. But from what I had found. It seems more people have the v-plug.
