  1. Looks great to me! I remember back in the day those were easy to come by but with the ban on Chinese imports, dried up like a desert.
  2. i'd be in for one. It would be far away the easiest option to getting a Krinkov without having to deal with the barrel issues.
  3. Is the "cutting and fitting" something the average Joe can do with hand tools, or is this a machine shop job? For the AK100 or AK74su side folders to work, you gonna have to have a notch cut into the side of the receiver for the folder to lock into. Those that are really good with tools and experience could probably do it but, I'd recommend getting a gunsmith to do it especially if this will be your first one. Whichever way you go, they do feel nice.
  4. For about the same money as a top of the line Arsenal you can get a custom Saiga professionally done. You can make a really gorgeous AK with a Saiga with either wood or composite that will rival just about any other AK. Case in point: Arsenals are nice for an out of the box mass produced AK but a custom AK just says it. If SBRs are legal where you are, do consider a SBR AK. Tons of fun! damn, that sbr AK is beautiful. i wish i could put a skeleton stock on my draco, or better yet, buy a second draco and put the skeleton stock on that to keep the other in pisto

  6. TY. I had it the SAIGA conversion done by Redjacket. I really like this rifle alot. I own about a dozen or so AKs but I seem to be gravitating more to the Saiga platform.
  7. Hey, can hang out with you cool folks now? I just got a couple pics of my Saiga with my FS2000 I wanted to share while I actually had some free time. I need to get another SAIGA and do a AK105 but not sure if I want to go the all black composite route. I may just get a 7.62 to do with wood and get a all black composite 5.45 but that is definitely down the road. I'm waiting on a COLT AR15 upper that is getting pinned (getting it pinned for a buddy, I don't COLT products) and I'm considering posting up some comparison pics between the 3 rifles. I think it would be p
  8. While not my first AK this is my first Saiga. Its a Saiga 5.56 converted to SBR by RedJacket Firearms. Pics really do not do it any justice at all.
