Things appear to be working out
Jeluvsk replied to yfzrevo450's question in Pauly's STEELIN' - Custom Fabrication
It might not change what happened, time that passed and his closed business. Nobody knows exactly what happened to Pauly. I have done business with people and little mom/pop Internet businesses on many different forums before, during and will continue way after all this is nothing but a faded memory. But at least we are getting our parts back. I got mine today good luck to you all that are still waiting... -

yes this is true, Pauly emailed me and stated his shop closed and most of the equipment was lost. He is in the process mailing people's parts back right now -
I can understand it jamming with cheap ammo, the fail to extract and having to pry out the round is what concerns me. I'll buy a few different kinds of ammo and try again. But getting it to run cheap ammo would be nice..

I bought my wife a 1919, looks great, didn't shoot so great.. only tried one type of ammo, found some cheap buckshot at Walmart Suprema "made buy Tula" Spain. Out of the 50rds 30 FTE, about another 5 failed to extract had to pry them out by hand.. hoping its just the ammo, Anyone else experience some problems or have any advice? How hard was it to remove the guide rods from your 1919s? I've tried putting it in a vise and twist on the receiver by hand with no luck, tried using a pipe wrench and hitting with a hammer, heating the rod up.. I've completely destroyed the factory guide rod so I'm kinda committed now.. i have a replacement rod/ firebird handguard so I know I'm which way is the correct way to turn for removal.

Easiest gun ever, not much more to say.. (Make sure your barrel nut aligns up perfectly with the hole where your gas tube goes through)

JT is a hell alot smarter than me when it comes to any firearm.. I have a RAM on one of mine, and I too had a problem where the mag release didn't lock all the way causing the mag to drop out once I fired it.. I went to the manufacturer website and it said to use a file.. Guess if I'd bought a JT Engineering I would have better quality part http://www.ramsfs.com/Pages/RAMS12XCpictures.aspx Due to the variation in tolerances on these shotguns, a very small amount of fitting may be required on the lip of the catch where it engages the rear of the magazine. This can easily be don

I personally wouldn't modify a factory mag, especially if it was working perfectly before the change. More than likely the top of the mag release needs to be filed down ever so lightly.. With both releases off the gun try to compare if the new one is slightly longer above where it mounts EDIT: phone keyboards suck

This is Sad, I never would have thought Pauly would hold our parts hostage, still don't think he's a bad guy, I completely understand down falls of life, but at some point you need to pick yourself back up and change this downward spiral. I'm #1 on the list, you've had my parts going on 13 months now. I've done business with you a few times in the last 3-4 years now You've always came through spite the lack of communication. Paul, I ask you to come forward and tell us whats going on, and give every one the option to email you a paid label for the return of there parts, At this point its th -

Heres an issue I ran into with one of the V12's Legion is offering. The lower handguard retainer does not lock into the gas tube correctly, there is an excessive gap which causes the handgaurd to wobble pretty bad, if it were any worst it would fall apart in my hand. Honestly I wouldn't chance shooting it the way it is now in fear of handgaurd coming off when it recoils.. Plus the rail on the dust cover looks like its slightly canted to the right, Which I know was an issue with the first batch.
