Ok what about the side slab magazines for your .223 saiga? Did you buy them or make them from ak74 mags?

I have a question for the experts. Has anyone removed the gas block and front sight bus.....then replaced them with ak74 parts? How much trouble would that be?

I have heard of a few post where people have removed their orignal front sight block and turned down the barrel to fit an AK74 fsb. I was wondering has anyone done this, if so what advise would you give and are there any better options?

How close are the ballistics of a 150gr, .308? And a 150gr, 7.62x54r? All the reloaders in the forum speak up.

I want to find an illumanted side mount POSP style scope that fits a Saiga .308? Which model would be close in calibation to the .308 caliber ammunation? I would like 6-8 power scope for hog control. I bought one for an SVD rifle but it does not have proper clearance for the scope. Any help from the Saiga .308 experts would be greatly appricated!

Ive been pooping alot more, so when it hits the fan it wont be a big surprize! And I was looking for one of those gun buy back programs to show off my new found talents.

My dad bought me my first nylon 66 .22 rifle by remington in 1986 or so. I still own that little rifle.I plan on passjng it down to my boy one day. Then he allowed me to pick out my very first deer rifle at 14, a chinese SKS. I remember picking out the rifle from a large crate, it was wrapped in cosmoline and brown paper. He payed $75 for that rifle, its filled the freezer more than once for various family members. Those were great memories. This is why I do not understand why people today would want to deny their sons and daughters of their gun rights and great childhood memories.

Hey Dole, I have an ACE folder on one of mine and I love it. Buuuuut...... Pros: Tight lock up Light weight Strong Cons: You have to cut the rear tang And depending on what side you install the hinge, it may prevent you from using your side rail. I do question how long the aluminum will last(the bonesteel hinge is aluminum too!), I would prefer all steel. The second to last one was a big issue for me because afterwords, I wanted to install a scope but had to reverse the side the hinge was on to do so.

You could sell it to me for 3 bits and an apple pie! But seriously, I would keep it! It is super rare. I would love to have one but cant afford it.
