  1. So I've heard all about you and your time at Red Jacket Ben...

  2. So I've heard all about you and your time at Red Jacket Ben...

  3. Forget the plate, waste of money in my opinion...we use the plain old shepards crook here at RJF and I've installed a few the last couple of days. It's all about making sure that your pins are all the way in so you can get it in the grooves, if your pins are pushed out just a little bit it will be a pain in the ass. Also a little tip, cut about a 1/4 inch off the end...makes it easier to get under the pin holding the hammer.
  4. Only caught the last ten minutes or so but that build was freaking sweet! Amazing work as usual from Red Jacket.
  5. I'd take some but I'm leaving in the morning for Batron Rouge...
  6. What is left? lol....I'm interested in some of the 10 rounders if there are some still avail.
  7. Yeah they have a habit of going off by themselves sometimes....that is why I was ALWAYS uncomfortable around rockets, didn't like building them, didn't like loading them and sure as hell did not like to do stray voltage checks prior to launching the jet. Freaky stuff on the Apache...hope it was facing a safe direction lol.
  8. That was my initial thoughts as well. The Russian aircraft rocket pods in the Toyota trucks look pretty damn crazy! Yeah I know from working out our own 5" and 2.75" rockets that they are pretty easy to set off "accidently" with some stray RF energy or the wrong voltage applied at the wrong time...that is how the fire happened on the USS Forrestal. I could see some rebel standing by the thing talking on his cell phone or radio and ....BOOM, no more Toyota lol.
  9. Eeeeeww, that kinda ammo huh? LOL...I've seen that kinda ammo, .50 cal with lot numbers and brass so old we thought it was left over from WW2. It probably was since it was sitting in the humid magazines in KBay Hawaii. Good think that stuff held up on firing. New stuff is $25 bucks or so a round huh? Wow, anyone who can afford to feed that thing deserves to have some "boom" to go with it. Out of my budget...lol.
  10. I have to ask, where did you end up finding ammo for that thing? I can't imagine it is very easy to find...nor is it cheap lol. 80 rounds of HE, AP and TP...what fun. Do the guys that come in and do the ultrasound have other ways to NDI parts? Liquid Dye Penatrant or eddy curret testing? I would have been pretty nervous putting that thing back together and firing it after it had been cut up and in pieces for so long...the boys did a great job putting it back together again and very cool to see fire! Not always fun on your end is an understatement I'm sure, but we sure love to see Red
  11. As a former ordnanceman for the U.S. Navy some of those pictures are down right scary!!! Wow! I'm surprised half of that shit doesn't blow up in there faces...but then again it might, lol.

  13. Another great episode tonight Boss... The 20mm Lahti was badass!!! The round was so much different than the 20mm I worked with on the M61A1/2...would have been easier ammo to find lol. Crazy that someone would want to own that kinda monster, let alone feed it but THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT eh Will? Mr. Spencer is a true hero and he deserves all the "plinking" that bad boy puts out...well done Red Jacket! Other projects were great too...stock on the Deagle, classic and ingenious. Taser on a S-12 wow... ...looking forward to the 12 gauge minigun next week, only in my wil
