Awhile ago we spoke on the phone about 2 round and 5 round steel mags for hunting season. Are these still going to come to market ? As i would need 2 round mags for waterfowl in MI.
-
It will fix the problem. The mag for the 2- 3/4inch shells has a shorter Mag body they added extra plastic to the tab on the back to compensate. Which moves the front of the shell closer to the barrel and no longer gets held up on the barrel hood. Saiga shotgun shotguns are magazine specific.

I would like a free conversion. Spent the 4th with friends and family. Had to go to bed kinda early as I had to work on the 5th.

I got the gun used so not sure how much it was used it came only with the 3" mag had to buy a 2 3/4" mag. It works fine on 3" shells just will not fully cycle 2 3/4" shells.

What is the out side barrel diameter for a Saiga 12 & 20 anyone know?

Welcome and good luck on your new shotty. I had mine converted by JT Engineering well worth the money and his turn around is pretty fast. He makes some replacement parts that are better than factory. I got my parts from Carolina Shooter Supply and shipped them to him along with the gun. Did not take long and his work is top notch.

Just bought a IZ 218 and converted it had to wait for a 2 3/4 inch mag as the one it came with was a 3 inch. It works just fine with 3 inch but the 2 3/4 inch are catching the brass just before the plastic and lodging in the action. I have gotten 2 out but its usually been stove pipeing on every round. I got it used not sure how well it was used also added a CSS performance puck. Am thinking of having Pauly do the bolt and carrier polish. Any other suggestions where to start ? I am very unsure about taking the front gas block off so that would be a last resort. Thanks, Wayne

What is the longest barrel available for the S12?
drkstrw replied to Groovy Mike's topic in Saiga-12
Tom Cole out of CGW made me a 7 1/2 inch barrel extension for my S12 and even set the end to accept Mossburg choke tubes. http://www.facebook....96422442&type=3 -
