  1. Armalite should make a 12ga shotgun based on the AR10 platform. Keep the price resaonable and it would be off to the races.
  2. The muzzle thingy is a spring loaded stand off device. Upon twisting, it extends out to provide the nessessary distance needed with breaching rounds. Also, it is NOT a Semi-auto. It's a side handled pump action, so there is no LRBHO. And I would bet that the easiest way to load it is to rack the action open, then load a mag.
  3. I got to handle the the XM-26 at last year's SHOT Show. The C-More rep told me that the original prototype XM-26 used Saiga -12 mags. They then made their own mag. I'd bet my ass that they just copied the Saiga mag verbatim. If I make it to SHOT in February, I'll try to get some pics of the mag, magwell, and the follower.
  4. I registered my account and can't wait to order!
  5. Not many in my neck of the woods. Guns shows mostly is where they turn up. I got mine for $450 and it was the only S-12 in the place. 410s were going for $299.

    Butt pad

The FSE recoil pad is the single best thing to add to the gun to help dampen recoil. I had to trim my Tromix stock a little to make it work, but it's perfect.
  7. I started by tuning the AGP mags just like I've learned on this site. I also really cleaned the crap out of the gas ports and the gas plug area. I was amazed at the amount of crap in there. Also, the gas tube was filthy and really benefited from a thorough cleaning. I then lubed with grease in the right areas and was good to go. After testing numerous shells from Winchester, Remington, and Federal, I finally settled with Remington Premier NitroSporting Clays as my birdshot load, backed up by the Federal value pack from Walmart. For buckshot and slug, I will use Federal Tactical since I c
  8. After a lot of trial and error with numerous brands of ammo and tuning of the AGP mags, I have finally achieved 100% reliability with my S-12. Over the last two weeks, I have fired approx 600 rounds of mostly Walmart 100 round value packs from Remington., Winchester, and Federal. The Winchester sucked. The Remington at 1200fps was ok. The Federal at 1300fps was great! I also fired 100 rounds of Federal Tactical Buckshot at 1145fps and had perfect functioning on gas setting #1. Federal Tactical Slugs at 1300fps also worked flawlessly. I think I can actually use this thing for an upcoming
  9. I have the AGP mag pouch and it is very nice quality. It only comes in OD green, so I dyed it black with Rit dye. Perfect match now.
  10. I have already taken apart the mags, sanded the interior, and lubed with dry graphite. I polished the feeedlips and trimmed the area of the shell guides that was thicker than the factory 5 rounders. I just now re-sanded the interiors and will see how that goes next week.
  11. I went to the range again today with the 50 Remington Nitro and the 50 Winchester AA shells. The Remington Shells ran perfect minus one FTE in the 2nd mag. The Winchesters ran like crap with multiple FTEs in each and every mag. This was with the gas setting on position "1". Winchester shells will be used no more. I then tried out some Federal LE reduced recoil slugs and had numerous FTEs with them in every mag. I even tired changing to gas position "2" and nothing changed. So I have found a nice birdshot load that functions, but still need a slug load. I haven't even started on
  12. I'm starting to work with 4 new AGP mags and am running into a few problems. I started the weekend by running 200 rounds of Winchester "Universal" from Walmart. I had FTEs about every third round. The round was getting hung up in the bolt carrier and was not fully ejecting. The new round would start to feed, but the bolt would not go into battery due to the other hull not ejecting fully. This happened with the first or last round fired. It made no difference. I cleaned the crap out of the gun and lubed it last night and went back to the range today with 20 Remington Sluggers. 1500fps
  13. Here is the fixed version: GG&G Quick detach version GG&G2
  14. I think I have seen a sling loop somewhere that fastens to a picatinni rail so you can install it on the siderail. Anyone else seen anything like that? That's what the Halo rail needs. You mean like this?
