i just got my saiga last week and from what i can tell there are two covered up stampings on the back of the receiver that i haven't seen on any other saiga. the covered up stamping on the left side looks like it says "read oweners manual before use". the only other gun i saw that had the owners manual stamping had it on the right side. whats the stamping on the right side supposed to say? my gun was made in 02 if that helps.

just got my 308 last week on trade. traded a bike i paid 900 for originally for the saiga, 400 rounds of australian 7.62, and $700. pretty good deal if you ask me. so far all i've done is add a bi-pod to it. eventually i want to do the trigger mod to it.
