  1. I want a free conversion! This is originally here i bought my saiga. Im in! Im just relaxing on the fourth of july with my family. Watching the neighbors money explode this year, instead of mine!
  2. My only concern about that from a retail standpoint is that this is not a volume business (in units sold) so they need to have the mark up to make a profit. How greedy they are certainly varies but online shops do not have the overhead of having a building, a buncha sales staff, utilities etc. The FFL process can be a bit of a bitch though as I found out. I got mine eight days after it shipped to my FFL. Very true, these weapons originally sold for around $200 a decade ago. We call that period, "B.D." or Before Drum. Shortly after Mike created his 20 round drum, these things exploded
  3. Most of this kind of statement has to do with ergonomics and getting used to the gun. Fit the gun so that holding it naturally has the line of sight down the gas tube, just like you would sight down the barrel of your 870. The 870 shoots well for you because it fits you, not because it patterns better. Fit your saiga to you. You should be bringing the gun into your line of sight, not your head down to the gun. Once you have it set up, practice to get consistent in the way you shoulder the gun. A stock that allows for a good cheek weld helps a lot for this. Ignore the pistol sights and point an
  4. As everybody else has said, the AutoPlug isn't an intended fix if your weapon won't cycle rounds before installing it. I would do as GunFun said, possibly even tell Pauly the problem and have him look at it when he polishes the bolt... if your nice and toss some extra money he might just fix it for you... It should be a relatively easy fix for an experienced Saiga owner. Maybe trying a MD Arms booster puck? Also, they aren't clips... what you put shotgun shells in for your weapon are called magazines. Almost everything that holds ammunition in the manner that your Saiga does, are called ma
  5. Well... When Pauly does the bolt, you can rock'n'lock without any other modifications. So sure, it makes it even easier i would suppose...
  6. Thanks for the opinions, I know what I'm going to get now. Seems like there are more and more people saying how the new ACE folder is tight, and how the spring keeps it folded is just an awesome bonus
  7. Just bringing this thread back to see if anybody else has some experience between the DPH and ACE folding mechanisms' which they feel has worked better?
  8. Yea... our navy digital camo is good for when you fall in the in the big blue ocean... you blend in.
  9. Yes you have to remove rear sight. Mine had to be ground, filed, beat and cussed at. My buddy hit his with a punch like three times and it almost flew out. (Rotten SOB) I did a lot of reading here, and if you don't have a roto-zip or the like, just go buy a 5 dollar hack saw and give it hell... I have the roto-zip but to be safe i used the hack saw just to get it started on a friends s-12... must easier than beating your weapon up with a hammer.
  10. Same mag, same brand, but I use the 000 buck... tested true...
  11. I hate to be a dick, especially online because its so cliche... But I feel like its deserved here. Judging on your first comment, "Why can't more people be as helpful to other members like you", this was obviously directed at caged... Who since I've been on this forum has always, ALWAYS been helpful... that was your first fucked up comment, seriously. Next you directly insult one of the more respected members in this community. You go on to saying, " I only have been reading for a week so I'm still trying to learn about my new gun", all of your questions could have been answered in less th
  12. Thanks for the info steve, i'll have to look into that.
  13. Scratch that, I just solved this question with probably the first thing I should have done before posting this... looked at my saiga
  14. Zombies... I almost want somebody to make a zombie shooting range. Zombies made from ballistic gel that slowly creep towards the shooter... Imagine how fun that would be!
