  1. drill the hole in your guide bigger to allow more weld to get to the trunion. i did this on a vepr after i broke a tap, couldn't get the broken tap out no matter what i tried. this has been done over 2 years ago and have had no problems. it used to bug me cause most folks do screw jobs on their builds....but i don't even think about it anymore, it is there to stay. make sure you use the right equipment and it'll be fine. i used a mig....worked for me. i can post a pic if needed.

  2. Milt Sparks "Versa Max 2" Inside the Waistband is the standard by which all other holsters are judged. A less expensive option would be the Falco Holster that looks similiar: it is a quality holster.

this....m sparks vm2 and a nice quality belt and your good to go. i carry a commander this way when packing .45 acp, very comfortable.

been in one of these for 30+ yrs, got about 5-6 more left then retire. the one i drive does not have the rear tag axle. indiana (certain counties) does not require it, other states does though....something in effect to the bridge weight laws.

These front dist. spinners must be an east of the continental divide type thing. I've seen a few here, but only a few. Having the chute drip on my windshield would piss me off. Back in SD, I hauled material in for a ready mix. All of ours were rear dist. with what we call a booster axle. We even had two semi's. I can't remember for the life of me how many yards the semi's held. I felt bad for the poor messicans that had to chip them bad boys. That's a fucked up job and I don't remember ever seeing it done in the winter.

    Wow!

cleaning the windshield is not as bad as it used to be. there's a plate under the barrel which diverts the cement/water mix down to the back of the top of the cab. big improvement...usually clean the w/shield once a week...then it's done with a long handle brush w/a muriatic acid water mix. minimal effort required. they are very territorial, don't see them down south much either. of course the 1/4 million dollar + price tag may have something to do with it!

about 2-3 of these and i'd say that might be a trip to the ER. how could you say no.

Uhh no. If you exercise regularly and are in relatively good health meaning , not obese, don't smoke on a regular basis and do not have diabetes, hypertension or coronary artery disease. you could have one a day without problems.

All that BS about butter, red meat, fire cooked meats is just that BS. What has changed is Americans today are overweight, out of shape and don't work manual labor 8-12 hours a day. I could go on and on but suffice to say even fast food is OK in moderate quantities if you are intelligent about diet and exercise.

I have the munchies right now and would like two of these tacos, How do I call them in?

notice that i said "might" in the above statement....besides my gene pool (family genetics...can't deny where you come from) doesn't support the above treat. 165lbs @ 5'10" still doesn't matter, it is what it is...can look at it though. smile.png

  5. that ole boy in that malboro t-shirt i believe the smoke done set in on him. smile.png was raised with this way of life for many years in the daviess co ky area......very hard work. every year the Catholic churches do their annual picnics and cook this way on open pits....some damn good food here. they also cook (14-16 hrs) in big 250 gal pots (most of the time wood fires but now using propane, a fires a fire when making soup) a concoction called "burgoo"....mixture of a few different meats and a lot of vegs and spices, they stir it constantly to keep it from burning with wood paddles probably 50-60 yrs old....real good eats here too. pretty neat seeing this way of life....they some VERY good people.

if i can find them i'll post a couple pics of some rigs i use to cook on.

  6. this is what the 1/2" ACE pad looks like on the bonesteel folder. screw holes line up with no problems, takes a lot bite out of the V12.....a lot more pleasant to shoot. crappy cell phone pics....too lazy to get the Canon out.
