  1. What do you experienced AK shooters recommend for mags? I mean the most dependable that you would trust your life with.
  2. MD Arms is the ONE vendor that you can NEVER get on the phone. He says "lifetime warranty", but how could they be if you can never get a hold of him. I have one of his drums and I love it. I would like to buy more but I have a hard time doing business with a person you can't talk to.
  3. Shit no. My Saiga is by far my favorite because of the SBS "cool" factor and how it looks. I have a lot of cool guns including a SMG but the S-12 is just too loud and unreliable. Of course I don't have but a couple hundred rounds through it. Perhaps in the future I might change my mind.
  4. Well I just got my BMF-12 suppressor stamp (only 6 months) and I must say I'm a little disappointed. Now my Sagia SBS is loud as a mofo to start with but shooting it with the suppressor was not much quieter. It is hearing safe but so is shooting my Benelli. Anyone here have one? What are your thoughts? Does 12ga subsonic ammo help? Thanks for any info.
  5. I'm sure the op found your comments very helpful. He really hasn't seemed to have a problem with any of my other comments, in fact, he's even thanked me for helping him on a few occasions... BTW, that's not the OP in the video, nor is that the OP's weapon... Sorry, it's just that EVERY gun board I've been to today (except uzitalk) someone was telling a fellow shooter how fucking dumb and wrong they were on some technique or incorrect terminology. Just a little annoying. In the end we all just want to shoot and have fun. No offence to you.

  7. wow, I sure hope that is not the build you payed someone to build for you, if so, I would make it public and raise some hell. FWIW, my s12 runs everything/anything with no profiling, no port work, no gas block work, nothing special, never been cleaned and fucked up parts on it ... I remember you from last time I commented. You were of no help then either. Thanks. ouch, I tried. by telling you not to pay someone to do something any noob can. and I am trying now. if you paid someone for a build, and it doesnt run, you should not have to personally work on it, nor should you pay an

  9. Most of you guys are lucky. My new build won't cycle low brass and hi brass won't cycle in my MD-20 drum. I have a lot of work to do.
  10. Thanks Paul. You know even know I am new to this I was thinking the same thing. Some of the other guys were asking some good questions that I should have posted. Like after firing the spent shell would come out of battery but not even stove pipe. It would just be pushed up hitting the top of the receiver unable to eject. I can't wait to try again. As far as RJ and Will. Joe is helping with the low brass failure to cycle. They fixed some other problems also like the BHO. Great bunch of guys over there just very busy. This is my favorite gun by far. It's almost like jewelry.
  11. Red Jacket did the build. It's beautiful! I live in the Tampa area. I travel a lot though. I would love to get help with this. Thanks.
  12. I have a new Saiga -12 8" build and my MD-20 will not cycle hi brass or anything for that matter. I fitted it perfect. It slips in there 100% but will not function. The factory 5rd mags work fine. But let's face it the 20 rounder is the shit and I really want it to work. Any advice? I have tried calling MD Arms but they never answer their phone. Thanks in advance.
  13. How many people do you want to tell you that some goober installed your BHO spring ass-backwards & your hammer's axis is probably too thin? This isn't all that complex. With the short end of the torsion spring pressing against the receiver the spring is directing its energy incorrectly & with your hammer's axis being too thin, there's room for your BHO to tilt into the receiver. The hammer's axis at 1.01" braces the BHO against the receiver. If it's much thinner, you get play. In your video, at 0:18 you clearly show that you have one whole heck of a lot more spring bent do
  14. Lol. I thought the same thing first time I read BHO. Funny!!! I thought there would be some Saiga techs reporting in on this matter. Must be throwing down a few like the rest of use.
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruVwgSYrpc4 I hope you guys have some Ideas to correct this.
