  1. Its also a good idea to keep the phone number of the NFA in your cell (304 616-4500). If you are asked for a copy of your stamped form, and there is a question or problem after you presented your copy (or cant find or produce your copy when asked)... AND its a weekday 8:00 - 5:00 Eastern time ... the NFA can look up your item by serial to verify you have lawful possession of the item.

    New Hellion is in!

Nope... the front vertical grip is very short, and because it is so short I was able to rock and lock in my magazines and drums easily. I was scared it would be a tight fit and I would have to work them in, but the mags ans drum cleared easily so I was able to load them in with a natural flow without having to fiddle around with them.
  6. I got the same make and model Walther. Mine even says made in West Germany like yours. I say keep it! I enjoy mine, and it fits great in the pants pockets.

    New Hellion is in!

Not yet, I just was trying on the vertical grip with the drum getting a feel for it. Those pics were taken about an hour after I opened the box from Kross. I can say that the "reach around" the drum, and holding the shotgun with the vertical grip was more comfortable with the vertical grip than without it. I really like that La Rue FUG vertical stubby. I will get some range time in the next couple days, and Ill let you know. When your Hellion gets here, shoot me a pic.
  8. I love a good zombie thread that just wont die. Just when you think its dead and buried, its back again. The undead thread. My name is the sound my Saiga 12 makes when he's angry.
  9. Raidersfan... if you get a line on some, and there is more than you want, give me a bump. I am looking for 2 more.
  10. I have the Mossberg 500 and the Remington 870. The 870 is a better built shotgun, in a pinch I would take it over the Mossberg 500. BUT......... I do prefer the location of the safety on the Mossberg 500, it is easier for me the check its position and move it off or on with my thumb on the 500 rather than the 870 location using my trigger finger.
  11. Got my new Hellion hand guard in today from Kross, and to say I'm impressed is an understatement! I have the Saiga S12 shorty (by Tromix), and I was really wanting to add a light and vertical grip. The Tromix front hand guard looks great, but I carry this shotty at work, and sometimes I need a light, and I prefer a vertical grip. I had added a light that came with a mount designed to attach to the HK front sight post, but it had its problems. The tri rail was the answer here, and Hellion delivered. The quality and craftsmanship of this rail is impressive, it is a must for the SBS Saiga sho
  12. Mexican Cartels? We wont enforce the borders so we need a Semi Auto Rifle ban to protect Mexicans from their Cartels? What an idiotic excuse. If we had nothing but vast oceans below the US border, the democrats would still seek to strip us of our Constitutionally protected rights. Mexico is just a piss poor excuse holder and his fellow democrat commie assholes use as another excuse. The political agenda is to destroy capitalism, create dependency on government programs, nationalize the private economy, regulate and strip away individual liberties. Liberty means nothing to the American publ
  13. I bought a Saiga 7.62x39 this morning on the Gilbert Guns website. A few hours later, I got a UPS shipping notice. Decent price at $439.95. As of this moment, web site shows they are still in stock. http://www.gilbertsguns.com/Rifles/Saiga/S...2x39+16+3+Rifle
  14. Another converted Saiga 12 is born, light the cigars, time to celebrate... Congrats SiCaRiO and Nalioth on nice work. Im trying to make sense of what is front of the forearm and below the gas regulator. Is that a spacer of some kind? Like you, I'm waiting on parts to come in, then I will be tugging on Nalioth's coat asking for help on a Saiga 12 conversion. Let me know how the other three conversion projects go, looks like your building a nice collection.
  15. That reminds me of another Simpson's moment ... Homer: Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. Lisa, honey, are you saying you're never going to eat any animal again? What about bacon? Lisa: No. Homer: Ham? Lisa: No. Homer: Pork chops? Lisa: Dad! Those all come from the same animal! Homer: [Chuckles] Yeah, right Lisa. A wonderful, magical animal.
