  1. Got this today My attempts to be artistic lulz
  2. Awesome review! I want one of these someday. But Im having to descide between the db9 and the kahr cm9. Ill probably end up with both sometime haha. Every time I hold the db9 I cant get over how small it is. When I hold it normal with my finger pointing down the side of the pistol, my finger almost comes to the end of the slide. Im leaning a little more toward the kahr to buy first. Just because the kahr is a little more proven and has been around alot longer. It also has more accesories avaliable and can shoot +p stuff. But everytime I see the little db9 it makes me want it more haha.
  3. Weight doesnt really concern me much. Im not really looking at it for a carry pistol. I look online alot because Im limited locally. The local gun stores and pawn shops dont have that much of a selection and what they do have they all seem to want a small fortune for.
  4. Sweet! Ive looked at a few of the 5906's on gun broker and bud's has them too. There are a few on gun broker that look pretty rough. Also bud's had a few reviews that said they were a little banged up. Guess it depends on how each individual officer carred for them. Is the pistol bare stainless steel or is there a type of coating on it. The ones on gun broker that had some holster wear looked kinda like something was rubbed off of it. Im not sure though. I dont know much about these guns. Just starting to look around for a reliable and budget friendly full size pistol. For home security and fo
  5. Wow that thing is nice! I would have expected it to have some flaws being a police trade in.
  6. Ive been wanting a glock recently. Never paid them much attention honestly. Didn't like the way they looked or the image that came with the glock. But the more I researched them the more they made sense. Im even am now kinda liking the way the look. They intimidated me with the blockiness and the grip angle. Well I handled a third gen glock 17 for the first time the other day and I've got to say, I really liked it. It felt great in my hand and I liked the trigger. I think that will probably be my next pistol. Where did you find yours for $299? The one I handled was a used third gen glock 17 in
  7. I would like to add the night sight but I think I'm going to keep the grip thats on it. Its so comfy and helps with the recoil. Would be nice of it wasn't so much of a clingy rubber. It does print a little for me to. Its in my front pocket in a concealment specialties holster right now. The printing doesn't bother me much. I've asked a few people I know if they can find it and no one has yet. Plus I have alot of stuff in my other pocket that prints some too so it looks even. Most of my pants and shorts have pretty big pockets so its fine for pocket carry in them. For clothes with smaller pocke
  8. It definately is! From what I've seen its one of the lightest 357 snubs you can get. The scandium smiths are a little lighter but a bigger hand full. The lcr 357 has just the right balance of weight, comfort, power, and concealability. They have a trigger thats to die for too
  9. The 357 lcr is heavier. About 17 ounces I think. While the 38 version is about 13. They are nice pistols. I've been pocket carrying mine for the last few days.
  10. Man those pistols are pretty. I never had heard of this grips until now. I'll keep them in mind for when I get another revolver.
  11. They are both great guns. I just got a lcr 357 myself. What ammo do you keep in it? If you don't mind me asking.
  12. This is my newest pistol. Sold my smith & wesson bg38 and this was the replacement. The ruger lcr 357.
  13. Just use hoppe's #9 solvent. Its formulated for removing corrosive residue and is made for guns. I understand about the 5.45 being cheaper but why is it better?
  14. Hi I'm new around here but I know a good bit about mechanics. I'm assuming this would raise pressure by taking up more space of the cavity the gas is forced into. Force the same about of gas into a smaller area and the pressure rises. I just got my first s12 a couple weeks ago. Haven't been able to shoot it yet though. Can't wait to shoot and mod it.
