  1. Here's mine. 2009 production, cycles everything 2 3/4" and 3" from day one. My whole Saiga 12 experience has been great and I'm looking forward to building another one!
  2. This is a common problem. Mine fell out, so i did the old vice grip/ hammer mushroom technique to one end of the pin. I've got about 300 shells through it since and all is well.
  3. I've actually looked into this on my own S12 a few months back. Some of the resistance you are talking about is comming from the carrier bottom sliding over and contacting the hammer when it is cycled. You can do some profiling/lubrication on those areas to clean that up a bit but don't go crazy on the carrier especially if it's unconverted and you plan to convert it. As far as the extractor goes, I have verified the resistance you are talking about on my own gun and I found the problem to be the extractor spring itself. The factory spring is really stiff so when the extractor hits the ramp an
  4. Looks like it'll put alot of lead downrange, but not necessarily accuratley.
  5. No I do not. I switched to my own springs in Pauly's GlassBolt Reliability System for better consistency & longer term durability than a tuned factory spring about 4-5 months ago. I include the factory spring when I return the customer's parts. Pauly, would you sell the extractor spring by itself? This is my first S12 and I gutted it and modded everything myself. I'm learning as I go and I would like to tune the extractor next. Cobra's recommendation sounds great and I'm going to buy a disconnector spring but i'd also like to try out your spring.
  6. Awesome! That sounds great, i'll give it a try- thx
  7. Hey does anyone know where I can get a lighter extractor spring? The factory one is really stiff and I want to put a softer one in. Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks
