  1. When I first started reading about people praising Tony over and over, I honestly thought it was a little sycophantic. Then I ordered from him. First thing that surprised me was just how nice he was. Not like he was trying to be nice, he just was. Chatted on the phone a bit and asked him some questions, he asked me some questions, and I ended up not making a purchase just yet but there was no grunting from him. Not like so many guys in the industry that act like you're trying to ruin their day even when you are buying something from them. When he got some mags in, he called me to ask
  2. Anybody else have trouble with birdshot? Took my S12 out and on the #1 gas setting, it wasn't cycling back far enough. On the #2, I was getting stove pipes and extraction issues. Couldn't get through a mag without at least 30% FTE (with AA Super Sport), almost 100% when using cheap Walmart Remington and Winchester shells. Buckshot and slugs worked fine on #1 though.
  3. FYI, I ordered from MAA but ended up cancelling (found some elsewhere) so I can't speak of the entire order experience but they were very professional and refunded my money right away.
  4. Don't forget it adds to your parts count.
  5. I got no response to my email sent over a month ago. Whether this is a marketing ploy or a legit effort to guage the market, I don't care to buy anything from them if this is the way they run their business. People are going to make purchasing decisions based on whether they will take on this deal, but they don't think hundreds/thousands? of potential customers sitting on their hands is worth a quick reply or update? Piss poor business conduct in my book.

    Recycling

Haha, I thought the same thing! Even the styrofoam That's big props in my book, waste not want not.
  7. They aren't even replying to emails, color me unimpressed. "dis is not bery good business my friend, bery bery bad!"
  8. I've obtained several relatively unusual mags from Keepshooting in the past. They are reputable. It doesn't seem unreasonable to decide cautiously before committing several hundred thousand dollars to a deal. The wheels of commerce turn slowly in Russia. If they go ahead with it, things may take a while. How about, "Thanks for the feedback guys. We'll get back to you as soon as we make our decision." No Joke
  9. Thanks for the replies What about downloading by one round? Does that save it too? Sorry for all the questions, don't got my S12 yet.
  10. Since there doesn't seem to be any steel hulled buckshot rounds around, how about keeping the top 1 or 2 rounds as slugs? Does that solve the deformation problem?
  11. yep, I'm delaying purchases based on the outcome of this
  12. Pre orders help manage cash flow and gauge interest to manage the supply chain.

    HELP!!!!!

Ha, try the 7 months the folks that bought 20 rd S308 mags waited, then FBMG didn't even bother to box them up, they just threw the half ass completed mags in a large envelope, who knows what they went through. Worse was the way they handled things on the 308 boards.
  14. What's the difference betwen Superhandicap and Super Sport? best I can tell is SH is a few fps slower?
  15. How do I put in a pre order? The add to cart option isn't there since it's out of stock.
  16. How about a reply to the questions? Update? Or is this a publicity stunt?
  17. Follow this link again, AIM confirms it is birdshot
  18. Do the hoidy toids usually let you shoot it there?
  19. I've put around 140 rounds of Nobel and it cycled flawlessly in my S-12. I've also run about 400rounds of the wally world winchester packs and 3/15 of them wont cycle worth a damn, that crappy ammo make my beautiful Saiga look bad. Thanks, any slug recommendations?
  20. How does that come to be? Didn't realize there were any registered AK actions?
  21. I just talked to Eric and he says they probably won't get them?
  22. Or what about the Nobel buckshot? It's pretty cheap.
  23. Instead of getting a new Saiga with dimples, anybody tried welding or gluing in a shim to limit side to side movement of the mags?
  24. u know, at that price, I don't imagine you would have inventory problems, esp with the frenzy over another ban. Even if you don't sell them all through retail, you could distribute them to other channels and still make it worth your while.
