This certainly sounds like an instance where the mag gets fitted to the gun... I wouldn't touch the receiver unless a magwell was going in. (of course no one recommended that BTW... just where my thought went)

I've gotta say that this makes me so happy. Here in central Texas, there have been numerous accounts of midday break ins. These dirt bags think no one is home. A couple patterns have been noticed by my neighbors: 1) thieves have been posting as advertisement flyer distributors and try door handles frequently; 2) the door to door and service people have been casing houses. The thieves are kicking in doors and running with as many electronics as possible. Luckily I have a Vet suffering from ALS living with me to double as a guard; he's great with a .45. I hope my neighbors never have to face thi

An absolute travesty! -
Some of my milsurp tabs were a little thicker than others... but it sounds like you're describing the WIDTH of your mags to seem too wide?

I can't see paying that much for a high-cap drum much less an Izzy OEM 8. Even $50 would be pushing it. Maybe that's why I don't have any.

what Brand of buckshot works well in your Saiga-12?
Shankspony replied to universal_exports's topic in Saiga-12
My IZ-107 has never balked at buckshot (000 to 4). I'd say use what you like or whatever is on special. -
I'm not super worldly but I don't think I have ever seen a compensator for shotties.

I find this response to be disappointing and patronizing... am I off base here? https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/we-ask-president-obama-support-law-abiding-gun-owners-time-tragedy/VBpRRMPR?utm_source=wh.gov&utm_medium=shorturl&utm_campaign=shorturl ...and WTF is he doing saying clip? He should pull his pants down too IMHO.

Yeah, come to think of it, I'd be more worried that someone else freaking out would want to hurt me. Maybe I should consider this possibility. -

Very interesting... did they declare that information (guidelines for what to say and not to say) or is this an inference? -
Ak-47 mags (file tab on mag or mag catch)
Shankspony replied to Spetnaz Soldier's topic in Saiga 7.62 X 39
Erk... and I forgot to mention (but I think someone else did)... file the bottom of the tabs on mags if you must. If you file the top then you're changing the angle of the feed. -
Mama's got a squeeze box

Getting paid to squeeze boobs? Yes, please! Not sure if I could do the vajayjay exam like an OBGYN (some of those sarlac pits are gross!), but the boob part I can certainly master in short order and go home feeling like I did the world some good! Save the tatas! -

Looks like fun from CO to WI... got yer rock salt and shovel ready? The only surplus I can spare are anchovies and ranch beans! The ammo is all mine, precious! </Gollum> -
What's your AWB "Panic Guns?"
Shankspony replied to King Cash's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
I'd say my panic choices are the Saiga 5.56 and .308. I already have a 12 and 7.62 so I think I'm set. I'm humble that way.
