  1. IMO, depends how much you currently want to spend. Sure, if you have $2k and want hi-cap mags now, go for a used Tromix s12. On the other hand, if you have $600 and want a project for 2012, go for the MKA-1919. Hi cap mags, ect will be avail June sometime. Gives us all a couple months to save money for conversions, although we can buy most parts now if we want. It basicly goes back to the AK/AR arguement... which reminds me... When will Tony develop an AK gas system for the MKA-1919?
  2. Tac 47 ftw! low wait time considering too. Other folks are 9 month - 1+ year wait. Tac 47 is 3ish month wait. Good shop, good work, good reviews.
  3. Anyone have input on the .50 gi Glock conversion for a glock 21? I'm seriously thinking about making my .45 a .50, but am wondering about the longevity of the conversion. It's been a few years since they've been around. Anyone have any experience with it?
  4. So call me a dumb@$$, I plan on visiting the shop soon to purchase a saiga 12. I'm obviously aware of him and Tony's (and alot of other folks) "dispute". I plan to purchase the most basic conversion. I'll get stocks, forearms, grips, brakes later. From what I read, I would not purchase from him online. But, most all locals seem to have positive things to say about Dave when purchased in person. What should I check before making a purchase? I figure I'd want to field strip the gun and probably fire it. What specificlly should I look for? Obviously I'd rather
  5. so don't plan on shooting slugs unless you want to spend a whopping $39 for a rail conversion. Dealbreaker? I found over $39 in my shoe the other day. True story. That said, love the Saiga's... just want a proper education. Rail conversion price be damned. Find me a real problem before I count it out
