Missoula’s David Thatcher, one of the last two airmen from the Doolittle Raiders of World War II, died early Wednesday in a Missoula hospital.
Thatcher, 94, passed away from complications of a massive stroke he suffered on Sunday, according to his son Jeff.
Thatcher’s death leaves Dick Cole of Comfort, Texas, as the lone survivor of the 80 Doolittle Raiders who flew a daring bombing over Japan on April 18, 1942 – months after Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor. Cole was Col. Jimmy Doolittle’s co-pilot on the raid. He turned 100 last September.

My laptop did the auto-upgrade thing 2 months ago. I was letting my son use it for school, so he never said anything. He thought it was just another update, and the school's server system won't work on anything less than 10 now. I told the wife she'd better get her crap off it after he leaves for BASIC, because it's going XUbuntu after he leaves. I have XUbuntu on several system(basically a Ubuntu Lite), and it rocks. Will check out the link posted, as my lappy has a few Windows-based games I do still play because WINE won't load them(age factor).

Been downsizing and consolidating myself. Witht eh new Russian sanctions, I've been paring down my 7.62 rifles.
DLT, My insurance appraiser valued my SGL21-16 at $1800 last year. I was offered $3K after the SH fiasco, and turned it down.
