Are you talking about a Saiga-M? I bought a bolt on handguard retainer from dinzag and installed a traditional handguard. Confirm your barrel diameter before proceeding.

well how do tell which model you have? I have the following markings on mine:SAIGA-12 (obviously) 12/76 18,3 Bolt has a 530 stamped in it CANTA-12 and I believe a seriAl number ending in 14530 Those are all on the outside of the weapon, if you k ow where exactly I can look to find the model number be it I side or out I'd appreciate the info. I could get into this deeper and I probably should when time permits. Does your S12 already have a factory LRBHO? If not there's your answer to your original question because you are SOL.

As a precaution, look closely at the image and you will find these are being sold without a heat shield. I know, I was disappointed when mine showed up in the mail.

For the record, yes the V12 LRBHO is a direct fit for the S12 030/040's. No it will not work in Iz-108/109's.

No, that rail will not work. The railed gas block is a rare bird. If it's a must have you probably would have a better chance finding a gunsmith to modify your current gas block. There was a good example of it being done by another member here but that was a few years back and my google fu isn't up for the task. The mod requires the rail to be welded. An aluminum rail is not the ticket. As for double AA, some members here have the personality of sand paper. It's better to not take it personal. I have the phantom, the poly framed version of the tactical. For that price buy it and don't look back. The phantom is notorious for having a terrible trigger, I can't comment if the same goes for the tactical. Nothing a little custom work hasn't solved. Double check your info as the V12 handguard does not mount up on 030/040's nor is there a retainer out there that supports mounting them up to an Iz-109. Edited: Maybe I shouldn't be so eager to jump the gun. Mullet man maybe onto something. I do know that the retainers the OP mentioned will not work.
