  1. You people actually "clean" these shotguns? WHY? I read posts and replies on this forum and it's like you folks think these things are Belgium made Browning Pigeon Grade Superposed Trap/Skeet guns. Only thing I've ever put in mine is Simichrome Polish from Happich and flush with kerosene when I feel like it is slick enough. I guess a semigloss black motorcycle or header exhaust paint that has a high ceramic compound as it's left behind substrate (after the VOC has occurred ) would be the way I'd go if I was the painting of an AK type person...to each his own I've always though my FA
  2. Does anyone know of a source - resource for a standard USA quick detach sling stud that works on the mounting thread hole for the fore-end / forearm for a Saiga S-12 IZ-109 recent production. Ideally I would like two lengths, one that would hold a synthetic fore-end (of varying thicknesses (adjustable via shims)) in place and one that would leave the fore-end naked / removed (shorter) I want to attach heavy duty Uncle Mike's quick detachable sling swivels. The little pigmy sized swivels that come on the shotgun are ridiculous, especially when you consider you are now working with a shot
