Everyone, I own a browning sa22, made in japan model. It was a gift from my dad many years ago and over time it jams about once, sometimes twice every 12 to 13 rounds. I've used many different brands of .22lr. It shoots best with cci's but still jams. The bullet gets mis-aligned and fails to cycle into the chamber. Anyone own one of these or has had the same issue? I clean her well and that still doesn't totally fix the issue. Thanks all.

cheap(er) dependable .22 semi pistol

Sounds to me a ruger MK series is going to be my weapon of choice. Thinking about it, my dad actually owns an older one and I now remember shooting it when I was younger. Thanks everyone. -

Great info guys. thanks. nice to see such prompt replies. -
Hey everyone, Looking for a decent .22 pistol. I like the sig mosquitos. Anything else out there to consider? I don't want one that has shitty mags that don't feed or a weapon that jams. I'd like to spend 300 or less, I'd take a used one. I've seen rugers and sigs both new and used above and below 300 as of today. Seemed to me the rugers have shotty mags? Any users? The thought is, since I have enough .22 ammo to pave a 30 yard drive-way with I might as well have something fun to shoot that ammo up with. Thanks.

“But I also share your belief that weapons that were designed for soldiers in war theaters don’t belong on our streets. And so what I’m trying to do is to get a broader conversation about how do we reduce the violence generally. Part of it is seeing if we can get an assault weapons ban reintroduced. OBAMA phantom fear of gun control ???????????????? REALLY?????????? Ok, do me a favor....When Obama sends storm troopers into your home and grabs your ak, m-4 or what-the-fuck ever then we have a problem. The thing is, this will never happen. Wasn't it good ole boy Mitt that signed

I was into paintball for many years when I was younger. Tippmann's are great guns as are smart parts guns and autocockers. I personally own a tippmann 98 custom and I consider this gun to be the AK of paintball guns. You can throw the thing in your dishwasher to clean it. As for distance you can get that with almost all guns with the right barrel. I know tippmann has the flat-line barrel system which is supposed to be great for long range shooting. Otherwise, JT performance makes nice barrels some even with rifling, smart parts has a barrel set with interchangable diameter inserts to match

Hmm, I've always been a UFO/Alien buff and I'd say that looks pretty legit. -
IWB Holster for H&K USP .40 (full-size)
jbizzy replied to jbizzy's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
Thats too bad, I would think you'd be able to find one some where. The model I needed for my USP was pretty easy to find on Amazon. There were like 6 different sellers all with the same model. Is this the model that will fit your weapon? http://www.donhume.c...&products_id=36. I saw this on Ebay, http://www.ebay.com/...=item35b83e0a95 its about the only DH holster I've seen with a flap closer. -

I got it off Amazon actually, I was going to go through the Don Hume website but the availability was limited on this model. Saved a bit of cash too! -

I just ordered the Don Hume IWB. Got a good deal on it, 30$. Its similar to the one my brother carries for his .45 XP so I think I will like it also. We'll see... -
IWB Holster for H&K USP .40 (full-size)
jbizzy replied to jbizzy's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
Risky, do these really work that well? I'm afraid something without a clip would move about, i.e. when getting into or out of a vehicle. The reviews look good and myself being cheap the price can't be beat. -
Hey, Looking for a IWB holster that will carry my USP .40. Having a hard time finding one. Anyone carry this weapon CCW or know of a holster that will work for IWB? I'm waiting for the funds to buy a compact SIG but for now I want to carry my USP full-size. Since fall and winter are upon us I can rock this without notice, being I find the right holster to accomodate. Also, i want to carry this appendix style. Thanks.

I'm not the most highly educated respondent on this question but from a personal stand point I would suggest one of each. The ak platform is the most widely used weapon world wide. At this point I also think it's ammo is the cheapest. On the other hand, the AR 5.56 is more accurate at longer ranges. The thing i like about ak's is you can get them dirty, wet, ect. and 9 times out of 10 they will still operate without failure. I love AR's also but they need cared for like an infant. That being said, they will perform perfectly when needed. I think both rounds, (7.62x39 & 5.56) will b

Echo actually is sending me the v6 that works with my tapco trigger frame. He was very informative and helpful in fixing the issue I had. Not to say that tapco's sling adapter doesn't or won't work, I just like the echo 9-3 setup better. And, with it already being ordered and exchanged I'll give it a go. However, I still would appreciate feedback on a reasonable single point sling. I'm dizzy about all the brands and variations and have zero experience with any of them. Thanks all.

No, mine is the same. I just thought that it seemed a little weak to handle a single point. But....my Echo 9-3 V-1 i got today won't fit the tapco trigger guard I have. I have the model with the pistol grip screw holder all in one piece. So....I don't really know what to do other than use the set-up you have.

Thanks guys, I actually ordered the V-1 today. You're right about them being good products compared to the Chinese shit on Amazon. One other question would be about a single point sling for it. I want a recreational one thats well built but reasonable in price. Any ideas? IrishD, what do you have in your pic? The echo 9-3 ones are OOS but seem like more than I want to spend anyway. Thanks for anymore advice.

Yup, thats also why his gut sticks out between his vest and belt, and his IFAK pouch is empty... That's not an IFAK, it's a snack pouch. Hey now, some of us actually used snack pouches, they are an essential part of a combat loadout:-) I could take my daughters Welches fruit snacks in that empty pouch for that needed dose of vitamin c.... Seems like a really ridiculous idea, a real waste of possibly good-intended effort. And besides, if I used it, it would knock the chew outta my mouth firing the bastard.

Hey guys, I want to get a sling adapter plate for my modified saiga 7.62 to run a single point sling. Anyone know of one that fits on well? I'm running a tapco saw grip with the g-2 trigger build and want it to fit nicely. I see this on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Ambidextrous-AK-Sling-Adapter-Plate/dp/B006YH7LK0/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1346820135&sr=8-3&keywords=ak+47+slings. Let me know if anyone knows of one that works and fits well. thanks.

Hey everyone... Ok so I was thinking of getting a Sig p250 compact in .45. Anyone own one? I've always heard good things about Sigs. Also, in my quick, less than thorough search for mags they seem really pricey. Any good places to buy reasonable mags? As of today I can land a p250 in .45 for 388$ which seems like a pretty damn good deal.
