  1. I now have 7 Ruger 10/22s of different configurations........you can't go wrong with the smiles per dollar!!!!
  2. +1 on serpa......believe it or not I've had great luck with a Don Hume slide holster, not the same level of retension but conceals well, cheap and comfortable.
  3. I agree! If you want it ? cut it yourself. I cut my Kahr PM9s even with the top of the kydex because there is so little to grip and the Kahr grip is not abrasive. All the others have been combat cut by me. When you get your new Crossbreed ( since we steered you in the right direction) we each get 1/4 of your lifesavers!
  4. I have both and feel the Galco was a waste of money. I ordered a Crossbreed to replace it after 2 weeks(trying to give the Galco a chance). I had the Galco come completely out of the waistband more than once during practice, the back of the Galco is smooth and more prone to sliding around on my belt and just wasn't as comfortable as the Crossbreed. I will spend the little extra money from now on and continue buying Crossbreed. I have Crossbreed holsters for G17/ Kahr PM9/ Kahr PM45/ G36. I have a Galco KingTuk for a G17 sitting in the holster box! Cheers, Dave
  5. I never wish undue violence on another person BUT thats the heard that needs thinning! Sorry for the way I feel but society would have been better off if the student had killed his attacker!I don't care that he is 15 years old ,if he is doing this type of thing at his age it will only get worse. Again, just my 2 cents
  6. Its unbelievable they don't want to charge him with attempted murder or a weapons charge in an attempt to allieviate the problems but you know this will be part of the statistics used when it comes to attempts to regulating legally owned, responsibly used firearms. just my thoughts, Dave
  7. Any Optic? Negative. Been going back and forth about sending to Dave Bowie from TDI here in Ohio to have the slide milled for a Trijicon RMR but I just had it coated at Robar.
  8. what part of ohio? I'm always willing to take mine out for show and tell! I have a completely stock one and a converted/restored one, you can shoot em both (if your close) Dave
  9. Carry a Glock 17(modified)Grip reduction, beavertail and cut down to hold G19 mags. Competition pistol is a Glock 34 Grip reduction, magwell and tweaked internals. I NEED ALL THE HELP I CAN GET!
  10. The whole thing? parts of it? whats there to disagree too? Not being a jerk, just curious. seriously, not busting chops, just asking.
  11. what BuffetDestroyer said! ..............and I own 5 Springfield 1911s! I hate the grip safety, it has out lived its intended purpose which was not to shoot your horse! Dave
  12. I like Glocks due to the low bore axis and no external safety however the G30 is my least favorite. This may sound weird but because of my build the G21 hides better than the G30 as the barrel length holds the grip against my body better! As far as their .45acp goes the G36 is the way to go(PERSONAL PREFERENCE)! all this being said I carry a G17 cut down to hold G19 mags. , Dave
  13. Thanks, and yes home job. I use a cheap Home Depot soldering iron. I recommend letting it heat up for about 5 minutes the practice on an old AR grips(what I did) or the like. Do it all in one sitting for the sake of uniform depth and pattern. Have fun! working on them is my therapy! Dave Nice stippling work there, Smoke Eater. Was it a DIY job? If so, what was used? I've been thinking of doing this to my G19. I stippled my carry piece (Kahr CW9) a few months ago, but wasn't sure if Glock would nullify the warranty if I did it on t
