  1. Only in a 32ACP pistol. Semi-rimmed ammo.
  2. A number of options occur to me. Depending on how much tolerance you need to remove.... Plate the bolt shaft and build some thickness there. Turn down and sleeve the bolt. Bore and sleeve the carrier. Counterbore both ends of the carrier and put in some fixed bearings. Taking out slop is not necessarily complex, and might not even adversely affect reliability. Am I on the wrong track here?
  3. Make one. Can't be that complex.
  4. The law is like a game of "simon says." Ask the wrong question or ask it the wrong way, then "no."
  5. Nah, it wasn't funny. Don't get me wrong, I come from a long line of rednecks. But I learned enough about the law that I don't warn anybody. Don't threaten anybody either. Just do what has to be done. lmao nothing about that post had anything to do with threats or threatening people. Where did you get that? haha Like that! Was about the thread, not the post.

  7. When I saw the title, I thought, someone needs a laxative or maybe some counseling. But now I understand. Folks need to be cautious about leaving tracks of premeditation lying around. There is no privacy and the bg's lawyers will find it. Think and say what you want, but written stuff has a life of its own.
  8. What do their different model designations mean for the GSG-522? I don't get a clear picture from GSG's web site.
  9. I'd suspect slamfires happped more from dirty or damaged guns. Particularly surplus ones still full of cosmo. I sure don't trust wikipedia as a source of safety info.
  10. What is practicality of 1000 yds in SHTF? Who has that kind of field of fire, much less the ability to ID the target? Better to lay low and let 'em move on. If we think about 2-300 yds then we are into Mosins and perhaps iron sights. That's really on a budget!
  11. As long as you have to pay taxes, you are (really) only renting. Who really owns it? To whomever you have to pay the taxes. But stray bullets and shot are not unknown either. And who can do a rifling test on a pellet?
  12. Has to be the extractor hitting something. Sticks out further if a round is there.
