  1. Yeah I live in NJ and they have a 15 round limit. So dealing with pinning mags and the bs that's involved with that led to my descion to go with the SGM's. If I ever move to a free state, i'll then install a bullet guide and run real ak mags. same here, dirty jerzy sucks!
  2. THIS is the way I want to convert mine too. not sure why others wouldnt want to add the cleaning rod to their conversion. i think it completes the rifle.
  3. I am looking to start my Saiga conversion and wanted to add a cleaning rod and a slanted muzzle brake. since im a noob on Saigas, what other parts do I need to get this done? i plan on using the Irowood furniture. anyone else add the same? Any ideas would be helpful and pics are always a plus! -thanks in advance. if its too much of a pain, can i ship rifle to somewhere to get it done?? if so, who??
  4. there website just came back online. not sure what the difference is on the "modified" trigger group that almost double the price.
  5. anyone know who has a trigger group in stock for a saiga 7.62 conversion? I have 3 rifles unconverted and looking to finally put them together. i prefer a good trigger.
  6. what if I wanted to add a slant brake and a cleaning rod to my Saiga? any idea what FSB i would need?
  7. i have (2) unconverted BNIB. would only part with them for $800 ea to buy a new optic.
  8. Looks like I'll be selling BOTH of my new unconverted Saiga for this new Russian Red.
  9. wow....all this work? Maybe i should just get the Russian Red already done from Altlantic Firearms & sell my (2) unmodified Saigas.
  10. looks like I prefer to have the slanted brake come up right to the FSB. Will the barrel have to be cut down to take up the slack? I think if u take 1/2in off the end of the shroud and attach the brake, it would look funny being too long. I cant seem to find too many pics of a slanted brake on a Saiga. All this work is starting to seem like a headache.
  11. Any idea where I can get a slanted brake installed on my Saiga 762x39? Im on the east coast (nj). Unfort, Im not experienced with machining, dies, etc. Will the barrel have to be removed or can it be done with the FSB still installed? I would consider having them do a conversion as well, if just a brake install is not enuff.
