    .308 Ammo

I would be hunting deer , so the 150 gr by Rem/Win/Fed is a good suggestion. If Wolf is good for range work that is fine. If I read correctly, the brass case is better vs the green painted steel case, correct? I think I have read where the steel case will cause problems. What say you? I am not that familar with the .308 rd and the Saiga (which I haven't received yet), so don't smack me around too much..... The South African battlepack ammo is good for practice. What sucks is that it used to be 25 bucks for 140 rounds, but now its about 35 at the cheapest. I don't know shi
  2. I'm not bitchin' one bit. I have always told my vendors to take their time and get it right. If these mags show up before Christmas and work flawlessly, then I am going to be a real happy camper. If they show up in September and work like crap , then I am not going to be very happy. Bottom line, I will trade time for a quality product everytime.

    .308 Ammo

I'm a few weeks away from getting my .308 from FBMG. I'd like to hear you all's opinion on what is the best ammo mfrs for: (a) practice/range (good results, but will not make me mortgage the house to shoot often) (b)hunting (the best ammo for the best results) Thanks!
  4. Based on what I have read here the past three months was good enough for me to buy 6 of the 20 rd mags and a Saiga .308 from FBMG and Tony. From all reports on the board, they are stand up guys and I'm looking forward to getting them soon. So I've got 600 bucks invested in a group of guys I've never met, but I feel it is a no brainer and a very very low risk proposition. I've been looking for a low cost start up .308 battle rifle with a good capacity of rounds and this combo works for me.
  5. Thanks! I had been looking high and low for an affordable MBR and after reading everyone's reviews, I took the plunge!
  6. Bought mine from FBMG with the Hi Cap mags. My 16" is on back order, can't wait to get it.
  7. Thanks to you guys here on this board with your excellents posts, I've purchased a new 16" .308 and 6 20rd clips from FBMG last week. I have a quick question... what would be a good recommendation for mag pouches for these new mags? Thanks!
