Paul and I were discussing the need for these just a few weeks ago. I've seen his prints and he has gotten a quote to have them water jet cut. Drop Paul an email or call him. Just to give him a little nudge. Tell him John told you to call. www. iCCmfg. com

It's a real simple fix. Take your screw and mount it in your dremel tool. Now go to your bench grinder and turn it on. Turn on the dremel. Use a slow speed if you can. Carefully touch the side of the screw against the side of the grinding wheel. Touch lightly but consistant. You will get a consistently round screw head. Check your fit often so as not to remove too much material. It works great and saves a lot of money over time. Seems like screws are overpriced. Good Luck.

Not tryin to be overly critical, but a small correction is needed. The monster brake was designed by Tromix, but it is sold through CSS. Don't forget that Greg is a business member here, plus a good guy to do business with. Take a look at his forum add. You will find a 10% discount code there. Other than that, it is a good lookin build.

Rhino Arms 12ga American made AR shotgun at Shot Show
jpnrm96 replied to pedal2alloy's topic in Saiga-12
It's a nifty idea, but more of a "who's got the biggest pecker" kinda thing. I wish them success with it though. I imagine the majority of customers will be the lawyers and doctors who don't know what it's like in the trenches, but they will be proud to show it off to anyone who would look! JMO. sidenote: I don't like lawyers and only doctors when I'm dyin. lol -
I get wood everytime I touch my S12. Does that count?

Hey Pedal, I thought you were referring to the guides for the extractors. I can assure you that they are in the exact clock position as the original barrel. That was one of the reasons for the many install/removal/checks that I did. It is hard as hell to scratch decent guide lines into the trunion . One of the things I did on the installs was to go past and not up to the proper clock position just to see how much you could be off and still function. Just like the factory barrel the extractors still engaged even with the position being off by maybe 1/32. There is plenty of twisting moveme

Not much info to go on. But.....have you checked the threads on both the gas block and the gas plug very closely? It doesn't take much of melted plastic buildup to totally screw up the way things work. I had run into a similar situation after a round count of 150. There was so much crud built up in both the gas chamber and the adjustable plug and the threads of the plug and gas block that I had to use a pair of channel locks to be able to remove the gas plug. I scraped it out with a pocket knife and thought I had it. I ended up using a pointed pick and after cleaning and chasing all the

Ive been missing a lot lately. Salty you are right. Paul is a great guy. They were underwater for awhile during the floods. It takes awhile to recover from that. I'm not sure what lugs Pedal2 is referring to. The bolt engages the trunion and not the barrel. The only place the barrel needs clearance is where the extractors are. I don't know how well you have looked at the engagement but the bolt has a lot of clearance and does in fact move around a lot until locked in battery. Now as far as the barrel goes, I have one. I had to replace my factory unit. Not only is the barrel a wonder

Point well made. I spent a total of 30 years in the auto parts business. I should have known that. They say the first thing to go is the mind. The reasons could be boundless. Had a customer in LA that serviced a car club. after 10 years he got so fed up with people trying to scam him he just quit. Not saying that is the case here. Just hate to see a nifty product go by the way side. There are so many things that can be done with that stock. I haven't looked in awhile, but how are the trials going on the S12 mags?- 20 replies

I received this e-mail the other morning. You can imagine my surprise when I read it. After the initial setbacks with the release, things seemed to be going well. Obviously the product is selling. If Bjorn is indeed ending production and this isn't just a genius marketing ploy, maybe he will give/sell the rights of ownership and production. I hadn't seen anything else about this on the forum. But hey, I spent 45 minutes looking for a 10mm boxed end wrench that I had in my hand the entire time. Kushnapup availability email0001.pdf

You mean 20 rounders like mine? They fit fine. I have Steel Tankers, Tapco 20s, and SGMs for Saigas, modified to use with bullet guide. All of these have been modified to provide LRBHO. Yeah, I kinda modified the Kpup stock. Ignore the date in the pics. I always forget to reset the calendar in the camera. I pulled these pics off of another forum. This was the builders answer to fitting 30 rounders to his Kpup.

This is a very informative post. But of course, I'm a day late and a dollar short. Better late than never. Everything that has been discussed is sitting in my stash. Last night I came across a round that I know absolutely nothing about but as described by the manufacturer it can do just about anything you need it for. Found it at ammotogo. It is made by RBCD in Texas. There are 2 762x39 rounds available. Both are listed as Frangible. 1st round is a 112 gr blended metal technology soft point. It has a muzzle velocity of 3100 fps and power of 2391 flbs. 2nd is a 37 grain sabot smtsp a

well I'll be dipped in shit. Hey Max why didn't you tell me we had a thread goin? Rayne, I was down at Sniper Co the night they first finished your S12. Not bad. Finally looks like they are gonna go with a lot of AK stuff also. Travis told me they have a smith coming from Cali to instruct the crew on AK builds. Most of ya'll don't know me. Ive been lurkin here for abit now. Been really busy redoing my Kpup again. Max has his ADD ive got my ADHD and OCB. Now if there was only more money. My Kpup (what's left of the original) is almost done. Ive customized the majority of it. Been t

Major KUDOS to the City Council of Nelson Georgia. Voted on and passed an ordinance requiring home owners to own a firearm and ammo for such. Also a requirement for said homeowners to be able to help local law enforcement when needed. Hmmmm.....sounds like "a well regulated militia" to me. There are provisions for those who refuse to own firearms to escape prosecution. Sorry, I don't know how to link the article so you'll have to find it solo.

Arsenal single stage vs two stage, whats the difference?
jpnrm96 replied to redrocker35's topic in Saiga .223
Seems Im a little late on this one.....fell asleep at the screen. I have both the single stage in my S12 and the double stage in my 762x39. The single stage is polished and is so very very smooth. I really don't like not knowing for sure when it's gonna go bang. I have a good idea but its not dead on. Now with the double stage, I have it polished down so it's very smooth on the 1st stage. It has a positive stop for the second stage so I know that just a squeeze is needed to take the shot. It is also heavily polished on the 2nd stage catch. Not much effort is needed at that point. Now -
Simple fix. Get some 100 grit sandpaper and a sanding block. Sand a little on each side of the mag at the top, check for fit and continue as needed. I've done a few that way. Even had to do a couple of steel Hungarian Tanker 20 rndrs.

Strait from the EIB network....poor poor DIE FIE she tried but failed. Just announced that the assault weapon ban proposed by Sen. Fienstein has been removed from the Democratic Gun Legislation that is going to the floor next month. Still stuff to fight, but we have a breather (for now) on the all out assault weapons ban.

Just realize this... in order to get the AWB off the table, the so-called Conservative Republicans have agreed to Universal Firearms Registration, aka Step #1 to Confiscation... That is pretty much a done deal :[
