  1. DINZAG has several that will work at reducing recoil. He has an awes ome one that is an oversized reproduction of the Russian AK74 brake. His work is beyond reproach and gets big KUDOs from me on the attention to detail. It is even notched properly for allignment to the front sight. It only adds a little over 2" to the overall length so you have some room to shorten your barrell if so desired. The best part is for us die hards that feel at home with a bayonette. It will fit the US M9 and also the Swiss Sa aig PE57 with a 9.5 inch polished stainless blade. Go look at his site www.dinzag
  2. I looked at a lot of different grips. I guess I was fortunate to have a shop that didn't mind opening packages to get a perfect fit. I purchased CAAs # UPG47. Several of forum vendors carry this as well. What sold me were the interchangeable finger grip and palm area profiles. You get 3 of each and it's almost like putting together a custom pistol grip for yourself. I had a SAW grip and now it's buried in the spare parts barrell. It doesn't do anything for your 922 compliance being designed and made in Israel. There are plenty of other areas for that. Just remember that any country who h
  3. Is common sense finally happening in Washington? Thank you for taking the time to find and post this very important news.
  4. You are going to buy a press then return it when you are done. Man....That just ain't right. what about the next guy who comes in and just full price for a used piece of equipment? Would you like to do that? Just think about what you said and how it affects other people and ultimately consumer pricing.
  5. Welcome Renegade. You will love every minute of the build. I found that besides CSS having great videos, Check out DINZAG site. He too has some awesome vids and info that will help educate and guide in the right direction.
  6. Good Day. I dont know where you live but it is heavenly with the snow. You were correct, you had your plans but God has his. Dont feel too overwhelmed, I have a son who is 17 and my youngest son is 4. I am 53. He keeps me young. The pics of the twins are precious. I am in the waiting for parts of my first conversion and if you havent done anything with sights yet, I think I have looked at every one made for the Saiga. I have had several ideas for custom sights so I'll have to buy more guns so I can have some fun. Drop me an PM if you are interested in some of the ones I have found. (
  7. Congratulations to you and your wife. May God watch over you all & give you a precious baby girl. - John
  8. "Its raining harder than a cow pissin on a flat rock!"
  9. Ran into a similiar issue when going through my S12. Found that the bolt lug was hanging up in the lug channel in the bolt carrier. A little finnessing on the lug and the corners in the channel and problem went away. Now its smooth as silk.
  10. Im like you. I have several injuries that limit my abilities to do a majority of things. One of which is shooting comfortably. Its just one of those things. My thoughts are, set up your personal weapon so that it is easiest and most enjoyable to use. Try to keep the basic system the same. God forbid you should lose yours in a battlefield scenario, the familiarity will work in your favor if you have to "pick up" a weapon from the fallen. Were you 1st, 2nd, 3rd Battalion or Rgmt HQ? 11. Hey ya'all. Man....this forum rocks. Tons of great info on here. Im glad to be a part of it. ORF. Ole Retired Fart. I decided to keep it clean. The last word has sometimes been another 4 letter F word . Im not Old. (age is just a number) I am retired (not by choice). Happy Shootin!!
  12. Kudos Mike on a great job. I am new to the forum but not the firearms community. In today's screwed up economy it is refreshing to see a business outgrow their facility and capabilities. I don't think you should have to explain yourself to anyone about why you do things the way you do. But at least with your explanation in post 29, maybe all the "me firsters" and the "but you said....." whiners might finally get a clue. (doubtful) When you finally do get the "dbl stack 12s" into production I'm sure they will be as high quality as all your other efforts. Until that day, I'll sit patientl
  13. I just joined. U might try www.kushnapup.com. They make a really sweet looking setup. It is a completely new designed stock. If memory serves me, they are under $200.
  14. Well I watched all 3 videos. The pistol grip is definently stationary with the stock. Looks like it is mounted on a matched slider that is mounted on the receiver. In the 2nd video they had a model with an Ace Club stock. That one utilized a different pistol grip locator. It appeared to be stronger. Also in that video, the shooter pulled the receiver forward after a short burst to reset. I think you could probably duplicate it in a day or two. Looks like it could be fun.
