The SGM Mod Choke actually worked out great. I was able to hit the clays at around 15-20 yards. I am a beginner so I was actually able to hit every clay at a short distance but at 20+ yards it was tough missed a couple 1 out of 3. Now when I tried 30 yards that was hard since I really had to lead the clay to hit it. 1 out of 5 clays I could hit. Though I think due to it being a 410 that the pattern is pretty spread out at that distance compared to a 12gauge with a mod choke. At that distance it looked as if I was cutting the clays in half instead of smoking them. Right now Im a little tigh

Yeah the factory mag should be able to handle any 3" 410 shell. Ive shot Remington Express Birst Shot, Federal 000 Buck shot, Federal #4 Buck shot, Winchester 000. Now I have the Sure Fire 10 round mag and I learned recently that the Federal #4 Buck shot 3" will not fit in that magazine. It fits in the stock magazine. 3" Federal 000 Buck shot fits in both magazine I have yet to try PDX-1 410 shot which I will try if I can find it in 3" around my house.

I am haha, after using it for trap and will for skeet this gun was loads of fun! Well so far these are the parts I have on order and will send pics of the final project. I also forgot to ad Next time I will be testing other ammo's of 3" 410 gauge. They had 3 other brands I did not get to fire due to used money up on the Browning Test Shooting program(was loads of fun).

Went to the range today to try out my Saiga 410. I tested 3 different types of ammo. All are 3" plastic 410. shells Federal Premium 410 Handgun as its called 410 3in 000 buck 5 pellets 775fps Shot perfectly on settings 1 and 2. I shot 20 rounds no jams. Remington Express Long Range 410 3" 1135FPS 11/16oz 7 1/2 shot Shot perfectly as well no jams. Even shot clays with it as well(will be looking at getting a external choke for my barrel) shot on settings 1 and 2 and put down 50 rounds. Winchester X 410 3" Unplated shot 000 Buck 5 pellets. Yeah I just searched around and from what I found it says the magazine compacity isnt a problem unless its a fixed mag which it isnt. So from what Ive read I can put a 10 round or 15 round magazine unless I missed something in what I just read in 922r sticky of the forum.

Ive seen alot of 922r stuff online but cant find the a straight forward answer. I like the s410 the way it is. Feels great and I dont see my self doing any crazy mods yet maybe in the future but.. My question is, in its stock form out of the box am I "allowed" to use a bigger magazine say a 10 round or 15 round? Thanks much appreciative
